Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of houses and apartments located very close to school. It's nice because you can find very cheap ones and pretty expensive ones depending on what kind of quality you want. There are also many different ones to choose from on how many bedrooms there are. How close they are located to school is definitely the best part.

Party Scene: I think the best places are at the bars and clubs. They're really good about hosting school events like pub night and offering college deal like flip night and ladies nights and stuff like that. Also they are good at bringing in live bands.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: It depends on what they are being strict on. Alcohol in the dorms and drugs and such they are very strict which is a good thing because most the people in the dorms are underage. Other things like parking they can be kind of lenient which is nice because there can be very limited parking.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: It's ok. I wish there was more scholarship options available and they financial aid people can be hard to work with. Almost like it is a hassle to help us with questions.

Campus Food: It's nice that there are a lot of options. The downside is that some of the meal choices can be a little weird. Breakfast is the best part though i love eating there in the mornings.

Campus Housing: I loved living on campus. There are many different types of dorms to choose from. From single to apartment styles with up to 5 or more people. They are very spacious and clean. You can also choose to live in a traditional style or pod style which is awesome! All of the dorm rooms are in walking distance of all classroom buildings and the University Center. This campus is growing as well so even more dorms are being built. If i had to do it all over again i defiantly wouldn't mind living on campus again.

Campus Housing: Nothing amazing. Pretty standard.

Off-Campus Housing: There ar many rental units for college students, but hvaing te stigma around "college students" the cost tends to be more because of the negative things that have happened in the past.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: There are many restuaraunts arunf the campus that are easy to get to and aren't too expensive.

3 College Freshman

Administration: They seem to be easy to get answers from when needed. Although sometimes they give you the run around when you have questions that portray to admittance and classes.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: It was easy to get a hold of someone when I had questions. The direct deposit option with Financial Aide is way easier then having to go down and pick up the check its self!

College Freshman

Party Scene: I don't party, I have a son and family to take care of. I'm just trying to get my career started.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: I think that the dining facilities are clean and well taken care of. They have decently priced food and seem to have a pretty good selection.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Just looking around it seems like off campus living is alot cheaper than on campus and just as nice as living in dorms if not nicer.

Off-Campus Dining: Its okay, but only having 150 mav money each semester makes it go fast.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: Getting financial aid went smoothly for me, but definitely took a while to do all the work for it. Overall pretty good though.

Party Scene: The campus has a lot of cool free concerts and stuff like that very often! I think it is fun and has a positive influence on the students.

Campus Food: The cafe is okay, seems like everything is a repeat. The grill is a good alternative every once in a while.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is okay. Half the time the printers dont work in the dorm. And there is only one dryer on my side fo the hall that works. But my roommates are nice, and most of the people in the hall are friendly.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: The housing within a short distance to campus is very expensive and many landlords will not accept applications from college students. Housing in this town is a bit expensive but there are plenty of places within driving distance of the campus though.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I did not seem to have a problem with financial aid for this school year. The spring semester of 2014 I had a tough time with financial aid because it was my first time.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I do not party or partake in these events. I could not describe the night life or party scene at CMU.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I know we have campus police, but I rarely see them around, but I am not paying attention either. The parking garage and parking in Houston Hall are the only areas I have seen campus police. I personally feel safe on campus, but I am not there at night either.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I have only taken two classes so far that have pertained to my major and they are just introductory so far.
