4 College Junior

Health & Safety: It seems pretty safe on campus but there could be more lights around campus when walking around.

3 College Junior

Athletics: The athletic department is not good at advertising sporting events.

Overall Experience: This school's nursing program seems to be very competitive. This can be good but after talking with many students the program isn't encouraging them to go into the medical field; it has the complete opposite effect on students. The advisors need to be more helpful with students. The medical field is growing so the school needs to put more effort into this program.

Overall Experience: Great education and experience. It is what you make it and the friends you make.

Overall Experience: You can easily get a job if you want to stay in Grand Junction, but if you want to move it's up to you to get it done.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: There's an actual police station on campus as well as a smaller less serious office. There are emergency service caller things all over campus (5 total).

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: The school is great, teachers are awesome and helpful, class sizes are small, campus isn't too big. Only problem is, location is not the best, and there isn't enough resident parking.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: To be honest I haven't even looked at the career services on campus yet.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The Rait, Pinion, and Tolman dorms are ok, they're the cheapest ones. However these dorms are pretty small with communal bathrooms and lounge.

Greek Life: Greek life is pretty low key at Mesa, only one sorority I think, and a couple frats.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Athletics aren't really a big part of campus, and I don't really go to the games unless my friends participate.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: So far my school it pretty great, it's just very out of the way and in the middle of the desert, so there isn't a whole lot to do unless you have a job and or car. If i could do it all over again i would not chose this school simply because it's a fast growing college located in a very slow growing town.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: Campus is pretty safe, they have campus safety assistance to walk those who want to be walked home late at night. We have options to help make campus safer. We have campus security that walk around every night checking on suspicions things. I feel safe on campus, I typically have someone walking with me.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The classes and professors are good. Sometimes the topic is very difficult to grasp. But overall teachers and the classes are good. The class size is perfect, it's not a big lecture hall allowing teachers to know the students more. Most teachers try to learn each students name. There are varieties of classes to take to help reach credits needed to graduate.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I haven't done much with internships or career center, but I'm the university center they have job fairs and resume work shops to help students find jobs and work on their resume.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I have enjoyed living on campus and in the resident halls. I believe that the buildings all have a certain area to create community. The dorms have everything that is needed for students, study rooms, computer labs, and RA's. Our campus is small, meaning rooms and buildings are close to each other. Res life is very helpful and advertise to show when and how things can be done and the housing is set up pretty easily.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: We are new to Greek like on campus. The coordinator in charge of Greek life is leaving this yea, but she had been inclined in Greek life before and has been running the Greek life pretty good. I think the people in Greek life are viewed like they are stuck up, and there was an issue where they were stuck up and lost the ability to have access to the private kitchen yet those in the Greek life want to try to be for the community.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I'm not that involved in the athletic facilities. But from what I've ever been apart of it seems to be pretty great.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I feel my experience bet has been great. It is most likely because I have gotten involved in residents life and became an RA. Overall I felt like I have had a great connection and community here at Mesa with the events or programs our PAC puts on, they are very fun and tend to get a bunch of people. I have had some amazing teachers and some not so amazing teachers. But that's how every school is. But some teachers here are so passionate about what they teach and they actually show they care about every students in their class.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel extremely safe on this campus. I never worry about walking from one end of campus to the other, and I feel safe knowing we have our own on campus branch of Grand Junction PD. There isn't a whole lot of crime or assault on this campus as far as I am aware. They do a lot to ensure we feel safe on this campus.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: They make sure that you know what the course expects of you, and what the semester will look like. They are open and easy to access and contact. The class sizes are nice and small so you get a lot of one on one time. The variety is great for gen-eds, but can sometimes be hard for upper divisions because of lack of staff. Their is a variety of styles on campus and they are all great.
