CCU has excellent housing options. First, they have five different full apartment housing options to suit your budget. Second all of their housing options are complete apartments with bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and two full baths. Third, CCU housing can be pricy so every student has the option to apply for off-campus housing! Also, all students are placed in a "stairwell" or group of students with their age group in which they are under an RA who has gone through a rigorous selection process so that only the best of the students are selected for caring for the students and building spiritual relationships. The housing process is fairly simple and easy and if there are some bumps in the road, Resident's Life facility will do everything they can to relocate, better help, or accommodate to your living needs.

This place is like most colleges - some of the professors are fantastic, some are OK, and some are bad. After transferring from a community college, I would say that the majority of the professors here are great! They are very willing to build relationships and invested in their students. The academic environment is rigorous and welcoming. Registration is relatively easy, but because this is a smaller school, there are less options for courses than there are at larger schools. Business and communications are some of the largest majors, but elementary education is also relatively large.

There are some students who go off campus to party and drink like 'normal' college kids, but there are also plenty of things to do, both in town and on campus, that don't put you at risk of suspension or waking up hungover. There are events on campus pretty often, like midnight volleyball, frisbee golf, and coffee house with live music. Curfew is 2 am for upperclassmen housing so people like to have movie nights or random get-togethers. Downtown Denver is like 15 minutes away and there are 24-hour coffee joints or restaurants open late. The 16th Street mall is a pretty cool place to walk around at night. People like to go on night hikes, because come on, it's Colorado and there are some awesome places to hike that aren't too far away. There is also a ministry called Sojourners who go minister to homeless people in Denver on Thursday nights. It's challenging, interesting and also a really satisfying way to spend your evening. Swing dancing at The Mercury or line dancing at The Rose are also really fun ways to hit the town!
