Overall Experience: College has given me a wealth of experiences that I could not have gotten anywhere else. The most important thing I've learned and am still learning is how to live and cope with others. My college experience has taught me about new friendships, and it took moving out of my comfort zone to learn these things. Going to Colorado Christian University I have the express pleasures of joining clubs and participating in extracurricular activities that are not available at most other schools. CCU's stairwell system provides its students with a sense of community. All the students in each particular stairwell meet every Monday night and participate together in fun events. This provides an opportunity for students to get to know their roommates and neighbors better. Moreover, the film club gathers every Thursday night to watch the best and most famous movies from the last century. It is a great way to meet other people who not only take the time to watch old film, but also recognize them as a form of artwork and a way of communicating with audiences. For me, it also serves as an escape from reality for a couple of hours. Another club, Inkwells, is for like-minded students to gather together to help critique and develop ideas in one anothers literary works. Because these experiences can only occur somewhere new, I never could have gotten them at my community college of in high school. Only by starving myself of my old human connections is it possible for others and myself to come out of our safe places and venture into new relationships with different and exciting people instead of hiding within the familiar. New relationships are formed when we step outside our comfort zones and allow others to come into our lives.

Overall Experience: I've had an excellent experience with professors and classmates so far. Also used the guys in IT for some help with my computer, and they are great. My advisor is very quick to communicate and makes it personal.

Overall Experience: I did a lot of research into this college before I chose it. I also asked my Pastor and his wife about this college and they both told me that I picked a great college to get my Degree in Biblical Studies. All the people at this college were very nice and friendly.

Overall Experience: The community on this campus is great. Because of the small class size, the professors are able to be more involved with the students.

Overall Experience: I just transferred over to CCU so I'm not sure what my opinions of it are yet. The administration staff are extremely nice and caring and I'm excited to start class.

Campus Food: It's pretty good and getting better. There are some really greasy and gross food but there is always a better option. The caf is a buffet which is nice.

Campus Housing: These dorms are apartment style so they come with a bathroom and a kitchen and living room. they are expensive but they are so worth it.

Campus Housing: We live in apartments. All freshman live in an awesome community. The freshman housing have two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, and a bathroom. The upperclassmen have 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room, kitchen, dishwasher, and washing machine.

Off-Campus Housing: I have no experience or added insight in this area.

Off-Campus Dining: There is enough variety to not be boring, and everything is very easily accessible (many are within walking distance).

Party Scene: In my opinion, the best parties are the swing-dancing events on campus. Some people may enjoy the school dances more, though.

Scholarships: Obviously this answer is only helpful if you qualify for the better scholarships. The biggest scholarship (second only to their full-ride) covers about 1/3 of tuition. Certain scholarships can also be compounded.

Campus Food: Not terribly good, not terribly awful. Mediocre, I would say.

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: It isn't a school that everyone would enjoy. But if you are willing and able to follow rules and adhere to Christian values and beliefs, then you should fit in just fine! The community aspect of this school is beyond compare!
