Overall Experience: I really hope to get accepted into the nursing program

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: The nursing program is said to be wonderful but difficult to get accepted into.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I really enjoy my school. I'm learning a lot more than I ever have.

2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Its too hard to maintain a normal schedule around work and a child, as well as taking classes. I'm one of the lucky ones, in that I have family that can pick my boy up from school, or take him if my classes are too early. Because of the lack of flexibility, I miss out on a lot of time with him. And I can't receive more than 24 a week at work, due to my class schedule and homework.

Online Courses: Honestly, I couldn't stand taking online courses. There is such a lack of communication, and using computers to grade your assignments usually ends up with a correct answer being marked wrong. Honestly, I've viewed how other online classes are run from other universities (watching friends do homework) and their applications are much more manageable.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm a Psychology major, and while there are many options for my classes, the time brackets available are rather uncompromisable. The workloaad is fair, and the curriculum is manageable, but the time-management necessary to work to pay bills, while attending school is ridiculous. Almost to the point of choosing your education over the need for rest and food.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: There is a lack of compassion from the administration. Especially the counseling center. I realize that they are swamped, but when you go in and try explain what YOU want out of YOUR college experience, they do what they prefer instead, regardless of your own convictions.

However, the teachers are fair, friendly, and fun. And they actually care about their students individually. There are plenty of clubs, and large variety of classes.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't tried it yet

4 College Sophomore

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: For me i think the net work is not that great for this you really have to know somebody that something like that or like this exist. You have to dig to know that something can help you.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: It doesn't matter which college/university im in as long as I'm doing the best that i can can to get to the university that i want i think it doesn't matter right? As long as you have good grades and you're a good person.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online programs are very great and easy to get into. Making sure that you can dedicate time to the course and not fall behind is critical.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Ive had a mixture of professors that range from hating their job to others going out of their way to help you succeed. Class sizes are small and the variety of classes range hugely.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am taking prerequisites to transfer to another college for the dental hygiene program. COS offers all classes need to transfer but its hard to get into some of the science classes due to minimum availability. Work load is heavy due to all the labs needed.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: COS is a great community college to attend. Majority of the professors and very helpful and will go to lengths end to help you pass with a great grade. Only downfall is making sure you can get into the classes you need and parking is minimal.
