Career Services: I don't think that the school I am attending offers alot of alumni network or job prospects

2 College Freshman

Academic Experience: It is not very popular; therefore, it is not very discussed and doesn't have too much facilities

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: with regarding with the professors; they are very professional and always willing to help you.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: the school assitances are not well diffused

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: You can sign up for the class that you want when you want them. The only problem that I have had so far was one online english class that I barely passed and not being able to get a class with the professor that I wanted. But the latter is okay because instead I got a class with his wife who is just as cool as him.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would choose COS again because then I will be in an actual college for a shorter amount of time and for less money. I get my general ed done and then move on.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The class sizes are usually just right and the professors are usually very nice and helpful. COS offers all kinds of class for a variety of majors and they even have counselors who are there to help make sure that you are in the right classes that you need to be in to graduate or transfer.

College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have not done any of these and know nothing about them.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The one online class that i took sucked but it might work for others. I guess that I can just the type of student that needs to be in a classroom with real life people that I could see and touch and a professor that is willing to help and tutor you when needed.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: The student body at COS is great. They have a lot of clubs on campus and are very welcoming and do all kinds of weird, crazy and outgoing things sometimes. They also do a lot of fundraisers in the middle of school which we call the quad.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I receive financial aid and I get a good amount of it. It helps me out a lot. The only way that you can get financial aid for COS is through the FAFSA program and it is all done electronically and the form is pretty easy and straightforward.

College Sophomore

Career Services: I can not rate this because I have no clue as to what this would be like. I have no idea of what COS offers or anything like that. Sorry.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: COS has a lot of art classes that it offers. I have noticed that there are a lot of art students who go to COS and that is really cool. The workload or homework is not that bad you mostly do stuff in class and then do a little of homework here and there. The teachers are cool except for a few that I have heard are mean and very uptight but I would not know because I have not taken classes with them yet.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors are all cool and some can be uptight and mean but most of them are cool and very helpful when they need to be. The curriculum is really good too. They teach the things that they are supposed to and nothing more or less. The only problem I have is with the class registration process, it could be better. You basically have to work your way to the top of the list or wait your turn in line to sign up and by that time, sometimes, most of the classes that you wanted or need will be gone.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: COS has a great library where you can go and read books that you might need for a class or you could go there to study and take a break from your class between classes. There are a ton of campus activities going on almost all of the time. This is like my fifth semester there and I still do not know of all of the things that COS has to offer.

Academic Experience: The classes are challenging, but im up for a challenge

4 College Student

Academic Experience: the registration process could use some work, but overall its easy and the professors know what their doing

Career Services: The students and staff are friendly, and they help

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I'm a transfer major in arts and humanity. I told the counselor that I want to be an English major so I could eventually teach single subject in the future. Transfer studies english was not an option for me. The counselor told me that it did not matter which major I choose; as long as I don't plan on going to Cal Poly, I can change my major at the university when I transfer. I'm just taking care of my general ed. Not a big deal here as far as what major in particular.

Do your research on ratemyprofessor.com. The professor dictates the entire class all semester long. I I failed to do that for my English class before registering for it, and I spend at least 5 hours on homework for the class. Some nights, I am wide awake until 5 in the morning typing up an analysis paper for the class. On the other hand, my History class has to be my favorite class. The workload is light, and the tests are rather easy. The workload does not determine the amount of material learned. Pulling an all niter to read and write has taught me nothing (but to research the professor next time I register for classes).
