4 College Freshman

Student Body: Everyone gets along in the classroom, and those who wish to not to interact go about their own business.

2 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I pay about one thousand dollars each semester for classes, online systems, books, and parking. My parents do not help me pay for any parts of school and I also have to pay for my vehicle. Because they make over a hundred thousand a year, I am not qualified to get any help whatsoever.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I have chosen my classes based on availability and timing. I also have an internship at a financial planning business, and do odd jobs so I sign up for classes based on convenience.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: My professors for accounting and economics are truly amazing. Skaff for accounting is a card he makes class enjoyable with his sarcastic humor. He has his own accounting firm, so its easy to trust that he knows how to answer each question we ask. He has asked about people's futures and lives, he makes connections and makes people feel good even if they are going through hard times outside of his classroom. The other is Mr. Anderson, the man who wants us to explore the world. He must like economics for that reason. He likes to check up on students to see how our goals are coming along. The teachers here treat us like students that can amount to something great. I really appreciate how much they care.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Most of my classes have been a little too large, and the rooms are not very inviting. Although the professors are quite the characters. They like to have conversations that deal with their class, they are so passionate about what they do, and really make it known that they believe in us.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: It seems that there are many different types of people in my college, but somehow in class, nobody cares if you are different. Everyone seems to just get along. The only groups I see are the clubs in booths during activity days. People seem passionate about bettering themselves through education.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There are a lot of business courses to choose from; everywhere from business math to business law. For every class I've taken the teachers expect us to do a great amount of work after each lecture.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: As long as you know what you need to take registering for classes is a breeze. Professors understand the students, except for the ones that have been teaching for what seems like a hundred years. They are always there to help, and make sure we know that.

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: Everything is so open, and everyone is so nice. A lot of students make good use of computer labs, and campus activities.

2 College Senior

Academic Experience: The only thing i dont like about my major is that a certain class get filled by the time im able to register and its the main course i need and its offered in two parts the first part is only offered during the fall and the second part is offered during the spring semester i do wish it was offered in each semester and even during the summer to allow students more of a chance to get that class. Workload is ok i have understanding teachers that dont assign a lot of home work and it mostly either studing from the textbook or class work.

3 College Senior

Academic Experience: I acctually liked most of the teacher i got during my attendence at College of the Sequoias however i did have a couple that were not really good teachers due to either not knowing their own material to just telling stories when it was only a 50min class so i didnt really learn anything.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: Ive really havent been inside the library or done any campus activities i mostly go to class and go home after class.

Career Services: I don't think that the school I am attending offers alot of alumni network or job prospects

2 College Freshman

Academic Experience: It is not very popular; therefore, it is not very discussed and doesn't have too much facilities

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: with regarding with the professors; they are very professional and always willing to help you.

3 College Freshman

Campus Resources: the school assitances are not well diffused

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: You can sign up for the class that you want when you want them. The only problem that I have had so far was one online english class that I barely passed and not being able to get a class with the professor that I wanted. But the latter is okay because instead I got a class with his wife who is just as cool as him.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I would choose COS again because then I will be in an actual college for a shorter amount of time and for less money. I get my general ed done and then move on.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The class sizes are usually just right and the professors are usually very nice and helpful. COS offers all kinds of class for a variety of majors and they even have counselors who are there to help make sure that you are in the right classes that you need to be in to graduate or transfer.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: The one online class that i took sucked but it might work for others. I guess that I can just the type of student that needs to be in a classroom with real life people that I could see and touch and a professor that is willing to help and tutor you when needed.

4 College Sophomore

Student Body: The student body at COS is great. They have a lot of clubs on campus and are very welcoming and do all kinds of weird, crazy and outgoing things sometimes. They also do a lot of fundraisers in the middle of school which we call the quad.

3 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: I receive financial aid and I get a good amount of it. It helps me out a lot. The only way that you can get financial aid for COS is through the FAFSA program and it is all done electronically and the form is pretty easy and straightforward.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: COS has a lot of art classes that it offers. I have noticed that there are a lot of art students who go to COS and that is really cool. The workload or homework is not that bad you mostly do stuff in class and then do a little of homework here and there. The teachers are cool except for a few that I have heard are mean and very uptight but I would not know because I have not taken classes with them yet.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The professors are all cool and some can be uptight and mean but most of them are cool and very helpful when they need to be. The curriculum is really good too. They teach the things that they are supposed to and nothing more or less. The only problem I have is with the class registration process, it could be better. You basically have to work your way to the top of the list or wait your turn in line to sign up and by that time, sometimes, most of the classes that you wanted or need will be gone.
