Very unprofessional environment. My professors have failed me on specific course-work projects because they didn't agree with my political philosophies. In one of my "DEBATE" classes I had to explain 20+ times the benefits of eating meat (THIS IS A CLASS WHERE WE DISUCSSED PROPER NUTRITION....) I was the only one in class that did the research. Largely the only reason people went to the class in the first place was to just rant about how they believe GMO foods are 'evil.'

This college is pathetic. They spent 10 million dollars renovating the entire campus but they didn't purchase updated computer technology. One professor of mine gossiped about other students and used the word "retard" 20 times in class. I had another professor that people had to suck up to in order to pass the class. The entire class time was devoted to this anti-GMO soap box crap even though the class description specified about discussing the current global food model, not demonizing GMO foods.

The employees are extremely hostile towards foreigners. I live in a country with extremely socially inept persons with poor hiring standards. The library workers will stare you down if they don't like how you look, I have had workers sneer at me, I've heard a few workers GRUNT, etc.

Largely this college is pathetic. I hate it. I want to transfer so badly! Don't go here.

College of the redwoods is a wonderful school with an amazing teaching staff and community. It is located in the middle of the redwoods, which makes the scenery around campus is absolutely magnificent. The school doesn't have a big population which means more one on one time with your professors! Not only that, but CR comes with many great benefits that helps their students reach their utmost potential and prepare them for a university or wherever the students end up doing.

I love this campus! Before I came here, I would always be told that the campus was absolutely gorgeous. This is completely true! There are Redwoods galore as well as many other trees like Grand Fir, Douglas Fir, and Bishop Pine. There are beautiful lawns and flowers. In the distance there is often fog settled in the trees. I feel very thankful I attend such a gorgeous campus. I also love the library when it is colder, it is a quieter place that is great for studying. The library has wonderfully comfortable chairs that I love to sit in while I review lecture notes, study my textbooks, and take notes. There are plenty of computers to use in the library, not super advanced technology but works perfectly. The library has a metal roof that makes a wonderful noise when it rains really hard. I could go on all day about how much I love this campus.
