Career Services: All I'm going to say in regards to this is that when I completed my Pharmacy Tech there weren't any jobs open in that field for at least 6+ months when I was looking all of the time, but I feel a lot of the networking and help had to do with those instructors.

Overall Experience: The value of a degree from this school is very important to me and I want to learn more and have a great education and degree and that's what I know I will have when I am done.

Online Courses: I prefer to take classes in person as to doing them online. I learn better in a classroom where the instructor is standing in front of me and I can just ask my questions and see visually what he/she is doing during the lecture. When you do classes online you have to send a message to your instructor and then wait to get a response and if you are a visual learner it's just not the same as being in person in the classroom. There are usually discussion boards, web post, forums, etc. Also an online class and you submit your work online and get you homework and lectures off of there and go at your own pace and have deadlines for when things are due. I don't think there is really very much peer-to-peer interaction this way. The registration process is the same, simple, hassle free.

Student Body: There is such a wide range of diversity at the school and it is accepted and people mostly accept people for who they are now days, I don't notice any challenges really.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid process is stressful to say the least! They aren't helpful and don't have any resources, you are just figuring it out on your own. Tuition and books are so outrageously priced that it's becoming harder and harder for students to pay for college without going into a lot of debt. My tip as far as the financial aid goes at the school...you are on your own, good luck! All I have been doing is calling to make sure everything is in order with them.

Academic Experience: There are a lot of classes and programs to choose from that are offered at that school so students have a good variety. It seems like the same instructors stick around and teach the same classes/programs so you know what to expect if you have already had a specific instructor before which is nice. Most of the curriculum format is similar but still varies from instructor to instructor. The class registration process is very easy; I really like how they have it set up so that it is simple and hassle free! The workload is generally pretty heavy in all of the classes, but if you show up to class and take notes it's okay. Sometimes the instructors will let us study in the labs so that you can have the "hands on studying" which is helpful!

Campus Resources: It could be better. When I called the Financial Aid office to ask about how to find grand or scholarship opportunities the girl said "I don't know because I just work in the financial aid office so that's all that I deal with, not that stuff." She didn't even offer to help me find any resources. She sounded like a student that was working in the office, kind of young and didn't know her job which isn't helpful for students like me that are struggling that have been taking out loans and can't afford to go that route and need other options for education.

Overall Experience: The tuition isn't outrageous, the people are helpful and friendly, and there's a wide variety of degrees/certificates to receive from this school!

Academic Flexibility: This is only my third quarter into school I haven't had to do a lot of class swapping or credit transfers but the few that I did need to have done were finished quickly.

Overall Experience: Our Culinary Program is just so hands on and it revolves around the better aspects of fine dining, it's great for "real world" experience.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors are friendly and helpful, we have manageable class sizes, and overall it's a great experience.

3 College Junior

Career Services: You have to do job hunting yourself after graduating with little assistance.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have the best instructors in this Culinary Program, they're super hands on and helpful.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: You have lots of options and people are willing to work with you.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: We have a great ASG (Associated Student Government) that throws lots of on and off campus activities

Campus Resources: As a non-traditional student, I was scared to return to college. I didn't remember the enrollment processes that I had originally done 15 years ago. The staff and even the current students were very open and friendly. They were encouraging and supportive and I felt like this was the college I should have gone to.

Online Courses: I like the flexibility that online classes provide, but do miss the in class discussions and input/questions from other students.

Overall Experience: The teachers I work with are incredible people. They are so enthusiastic about their subjects and are always going the extra mile to help students in class, as well as connect them with outside resources if they would like to delve into other avenues of study.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: From what I can see so far, its pretty good! Graduated students stop by often and talk to us about the jobs they started upon graduating. New job openings are posted in class, and companies often call and ask if there are students available to come work for them.

Student Body: The students are from all walks of life. Retired military, criminals being reintroduced to society, career changers, first time students, running start high school students, and anyone wanting to learn a particular technical trade.

Overall Experience: The teachers for the graphics design course are top notch. They are clearly passionate about the industry, about teaching, and about helping their students succeed. We are able to work with the best, latest equipment in the industry, and have easy access to additional help and resources. The curriculum is challenging and yet completely accomplishable, and we are supported and encouraged every day to do our best, and learn to the maximum potential.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: We are working with the most up to date versions of the computer programs we are learning, and get to use industry standard high tech computers. We are learning on what the industry expects us to be able to use which is very helpful.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: My college offers a nice selection of core classes for general education requirements, and offers a wide variety of specialized technical courses. I am lucky in that I know the area I want to study, but am still exposed to a variety of other fields. If another subject inspired me I feel like it would be easy to study different areas of academia.

Campus Resources: It's getting better. There is a counselor that is using my course of study as a guinea pig for a program she created to help students connect more with the help available for students. Mostly students are simply unaware of the help they can receive, so they assume no help is offered. The school is taking steps to change this, and it is encouraging.

Career Services: Our teachers are in contact with several businesses in our area of study and constantly post job opportunities for graduating students. As far as what the school administration provides for graduates, I'm not aware yet of the help they offer for job placement assistance.
