Overall Experience: They were great with helping me and my mom understand the whole admission process. Counselors were awesome

Overall Experience: I enjoy going to Cleveland State because the set up of the campus is nice and I can find my classes easily. The student center always has events going on so if I'm waiting for a class to start I'm never bored. Also there a lot of good, quiet areas for studying in between classes. I would choose this school again if I could do it all over because I'm close to my family and I enjoy the school overall.

Overall Experience: Cleveland State has been great. I have learned so much and met so many great people. Plus Cleveland State is close to home so I can stay with my family and commute to school. I would definitely choose Cleveland State University again.

Overall Experience: The colorful city setting makes you feel part of something big; that and the availability of public transportation means you'll never feel stranded or without somewhere to go. As for professors, they seem to know exactly what they're talking about and enjoy the subjects they teach, which makes learning easier (but not too easy, they keep you feeling challenged). Overall a comfy campus with plenty of trees and beautiful, creatively landscaped areas.

Overall Experience: It's college you have to adjust to the lifestyle, the expectations, the people, it's the big world where you have to act like an adult. It's college!

Overall Experience: I never wanted to go to a "big" school. Before I transferred to CSU, I went to a tiny, private college. To my surprise, the class sizes are pretty amall for the size of the institution. The professors are really nice and helpful; they want their students to succeed. I love that there are so many things to do on campus- intramural sports, student organizations, and just places to hang out. There are a lot of different events that the university hosts to increase atudent involvment!

Overall Experience: When I tell people that I will be attending Graduate School at CSU in the fall, they comment on all of the changes they have seen driving past. As well as, Cleveland State's up and coming reputation. The professors are of high quality, the new apartments, the new Student Center, the new CSU building; are all things that the community cannot ignore.

I really like how involved the college is with the Cleveland International Film Festival. The arts are important. Cleveland State sees the value in culture. All of these things make me proud to be a student, for a second time, at Cleveland State University.

Overall Experience: I wouldn't choose my school again because having known the limited financial backing international students have is shocking. It scares future international students away rather than attracting them to the school. I hope for change in how they help international students cope with the life.

Overall Experience: I'm not on campus a lot since I commute from home so I'm only down there for 15-20 hours a week. The professors are alright, some very good at their jobs and others need improvement.

Campus Housing: It's fantastic! Very clean and modern.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I would have to travel, but i also do not have actual money to spend on it.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: The off-campus housing is great, I just cannot afford to live there.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: It's Cleveland so you are not going to find the best parties unless you go to another city.

3 College Sophomore

Administration: Everything just seems normal. So far nothing's excessive.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: It's not home cooked food but I guess it's fine.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: There's not a lot of chances for me to receive a scholarship.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: You have access to everything on campus.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I have not started looking to live off campus but my friends say it is hard because there aren't too many places that are affordable without having to have a roommate.

2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Pizza, pizza and more pizza or subway. Nothing stays open past like 10:00 pm and most college students are awake still at that time.

2 College Freshman

Party Scene: There are barely any parties.

3 College Freshman

Administration: The parking it a little ridiculous. If you are two minutes over your timer you get a ticket and the parking police are always just waiting to give someone a tickets. It is annoying.

Cleveland State's motto is "the city is our campus" and with a setting like this, how can a student not enjoy all it has to offer? The city opens doors to many opportunities. No matter what major you are, the teachers are personable and easy to build a rapport with, and, most importantly, they help students gain a better understanding of the real world. With 16,000 students, you get all of the advantages of both large and small campuses, which is hard to find at other schools. The size of the classes helps students better understand the material and makes it easier to become knowledgeable in their desired areas. The city provides plenty of learning experiences that cannot be found at many other colleges.

The majority of students at Cleveland State will probably find a reason to complain about something that has taken place on campus, but the majority of those students, when asked, said they would pick CSU all over again. Once you come here, it will be hard to see yourself anywhere else because, like stated before, it provides you with many opportunities and advantages that might not be offered at other colleges. CSU is not just a place to learn what you need to know for a career, but it is also a place to grow and interact. Without the experience of Cleveland State University, a student could be missing out on the next door to their life, and that is a chance that should not be taken.
