3 College Freshman

Technology: CIA doesn't really have a campus. There are just two school buildings that are separate from another by about 15-20 minutes of walking. But it's a beautiful walk and the buildings are beautiful as well.

3 College Freshman

Technology: The students of the Cleveland Institute of Art are very privileged to have the technology that the school offers. The computer labs are up to date with the latest software and most importantly the Adobe programs that students use the most. The downside to sharing the computers is that because so many students use them, it is easy for them to become slow and even worst crash. A couple of the computer occasionally crash when students don't treat them properly.

2 College Sophomore

Technology: If you are a first-year (foundation) student, you would have a pretty difficult time if you relied solely on CIA's computers. The buildings close at about 1:30am, and the number of machines available is limited. If you are in your major, access is wider, but it would still be wiser to have you own computer. However, you can get by without purchasing an Adobe Suite. CIA is well-equipped with those programs, and you won't be required to use them often enough that you'd need 24/7 access to them. On the topic of printers, once again, life will be difficult if you are a first-year and need a color printer.
