4 College Junior

Greek Life: Clemson doesn't revolve around Greek life, but if you are in Greek life it is an easy and fun way to meet people and get involved.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: I transferred from a school where I was in a sorority but Clemson doesn't have it so I am no longer an active member.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: I am not a part of Greek life but most of my friends that are say they wouldn't change it for the world. They love greek like and I think it acts as an excellent way to meet new people and network. On the other hand, if Greek life isn't for you, myself included, you just have to find a different club or team or organization that catches your interest and you'll enjoy it just as much as they enjoy Greek life!

Greek Life: Greek life is great at Clemson. The relationship that the Greek community has with the non-Greek community is really nice. I was in a sorority for a little bit my freshman year and then decided that it wasn't for me, but I have friends who are in it and love it and friends that aren't. Everyone is pretty respectful.

Less than a quarter of the students at Clemson are Greek, but fraternities and sororities still have highly visible social scenes. In addition to becoming involved on campus, going Greek is a great way to meet a lot of people, fast. Although it can be time consuming and expensive, Greek life thrives at Clemson because enough students want it to.

Becoming a member of the Greek community is entirely up to you. There are plenty of fraternities and sororities on campus, all different in their own way. If you are considering becoming a Greek, you should attend the rush functions in the fall to get to know some of the different fraternities and sororities.
