Campus Food

Campus Food: For health conscious eaters/ those who have restricted diets, the dining halls don't work that much in your favor to give you a variety of options. You have the choice of cereal, yogurt bar, sandwiches, and omlettes. That's about it.

3 College Freshman

Campus Food: I personally enjoyed the amount of variety and the friendliness of the staff.

1 College Junior

Campus Food: Do not come here for the food. Don't judge the school on it's food either.

4 College Junior

Campus Food: There is plenty of variety on campus for food. You can usually find something for everyone. I like that Clemson produces it's own ice cream and sells in it's own ice cream parlor. I do think that the food can be rather expensive for what you get. Especially some of the convenient already packaged meals.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Chick Fil A needs to start serving Chicken minis in the mornings.

When at college, what you're given is what you eat.
Clemson is no exception. Students say the food is tolerable, and there are certain places that are better than others. Clemson House and Schilleter are agreed to be better dining halls than Harcombe. Other alternatives to dining hall food are the Hendrix Center's East Side Food Court and the Fernow Street Café.

The food on campus does not leave much to complain about. There are many options to choose from, and there is something for everyone (Clemson makes an effort to offer more health-conscious food choices). The only complaints students have are about the dining hall hours. Harcombe stops serving dinner at 7:30 p.m. and Schilleter at 7 p.m. Most students stock up on snacks for those late-night cravings, and you can always use your Tiger Stripe card at Papa John's for delivery.
