Administration: RAs are cool, so campus housing is great. Campus police lives to give out MIPs like candy. Parking services are children of satan.

3 College Junior

Administration: Parking services and the local police are a little ridiculous. Some of these guys take their jobs way too seriously. It often seems like they are just looking for trouble and trying to bust underage drinkers when they should be more focused on looking out for the best interest and safety of the students.

Students agree that common sense is the most important thing to have if you're going to be drinking underage or attending parties where alcohol is present. They warn to be particularly careful in dorms or at bars when you know SLED (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) agents are in the area. Most students feel that the police ensure safety on campus and do not treat the students unfairly.

Campus police are not overly strict at Clemson, nor are they pushovers. You need to be especially careful when on campus, particularly in the dorms. The University is responsible for the safety of all its students, and they go to great lengths to keep the living areas safe.
