Health & Safety: The Clark Community is tight, we subtly care about each other. Its the part of Worcester that presents the most dangerous- bad neighborhood, but completely reliant on Clark University.

Party Scene: It's cool. The 2 a.m. close time is a bit of a bummer though, especially if you're from a place that has no concept of "last call"

Off-Campus Dining: Dining off-campus is very easy. There are a lot of chain fast-food places, but also a lot of out-of-the-way quirky places to choose from. And some of the places offer Clark students discounts, so they are very convenient and cost-effective

Athletics: Sports aren't the center of school life, but they are encouraged by the administration. The facilities are very nice and well taken care of, and there are a lot of sport teams to choose from, so that anyone and everyone who wants to play can

Academics: The professors are very knowledgeable and very friendly, and they encourage questions and interactions which makes for a very pleasant learning experience.

Registration is a breeze when done online, especially if its done early.

Campus Housing: Living on campus is like living in a mind incubator. So many things to stimulate the mind into ever more interesting places

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Not a personal off campus student but all of the surrounding neighborhoods are owned by a realtor that works with the school to get students apartments

4 College Freshman

Administration: Although we have clear restictions it isnt hard to get away with things and rules are already pretty chill

Off-Campus Dining: many ethnic places for variety. Annies brunch and acoustic java are the best and sooo close

3 College Freshman

Local Area: Havent ventured much into worcester but there are ways to get around and things to do

3 College Freshman

Party Scene: The parties are fun but few and you have to know the right people to get into them

The students say it best: Clark is a great place to spend four important—perhaps the most important—years of your life. Those who go to Clark report being glad they went. They say that they learned what they wanted to learn in their major, had a lot of fun, and grew up in the process. No campus is perfect, but despite Clark’s flaws, students still manage to fall in love with it and pursue their degrees until the end. Clark’s strengths lie in its academics, its community, and the city in which it resides. Even though that same city gives rise to some of Clark’s largest problems, it also exemplifies the diversity that Clark strives to provide for its students on campus. The city’s restaurants also provide a welcome escape from Clark’s dreadful meal plan!

Although Clark suffers from a poor social scene, low enthusiasm for organized sports, New England weather, and the double-edged sword of apathy and tolerance, Clarkies leave the school realizing that they have just lived through an incredible academic and social experience. It is an experience that stays with them throughout their lives via Clark’s professional reputation, as well as the bonds formed with professors and fellow Clarkies. Students agree: By the time graduation day rolls around, you will be equipped to face the world as an educated adult, but you will wish you had just a little more time at Clark.
