4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I am really enjoying attending Clark College. The curriculum is comprehensive, the facilities are accommodating, and the workload is challenging, yet manageable.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: My experience at school so far has been awesome. All of the professors have been very knowledgeable and are great at helping students understand the subject matter. One of the best things that I have observed is the willingness to provide help through the use of tutoring centers located throughout the campus.

Academic Flexibility: Due to the popularity of my school, classes often have several options for times. I have never had a problem with scheduling; then again, I don't have many extracurricular activities to deal with. If I had a scheduling problem, the professors are very understanding and are willing to work something out with you.

Career Services: I have not yet acquired a job through Clark, but I know it would be easy if I tried. The businesses come to you for your services during the career fairs held there. I attended one, and everyone was friendly and open with information.

Overall Experience: It could be luck, but so far my professors have been the best I could've asked for. Most of them interact with students in a friendly and welcoming manner and can answer any question pertaining to their field. I went to college to discover a career path I could take, and my quest is over thanks to the Japanese program. Clark's class variety gives you many opportunities to change and grow as a person. Even if you take a class you don't think will help you, it ends up doing so in surprising ways. Unlike big universities, class sizes are comfortable and give you chances to speak one on one with your professor. It's all my high school said college would be like and more.

Overall Experience: A degree from Clark is worth just as much as an Associates from a big university. Clark is a quality school that offers all the career opportunities a larger college would offer at a low price. At the big career fairs held regularly, job offers from the community present themselves for easy access. The people at Clark understand the financial problems of students and work hard to help you get an education employers want you to have.

Academic Experience: Japanese is not offered in many colleges. It's low popularity due to the absence of jobs in the field means Japanese programs at many colleges offer sub-par instruction or non-native speakers as teachers. Clark is different. The program is taught by two wonderful teachers who have Japanese as their first language, and who are very passionate about giving the best possible experience to new learners. They have enough experience teaching Japanese that the course curriculum is well balanced and fair. You can study abroad for one quarter, which I plan on doing. Clark's Japanese program does not leave you wanting a better experience.

Overall Experience: As a community college, Clark is expected to be easy, accepting and simplistic. It's just a stepping stone for people going on to bigger and "better" colleges. I found Clark to be different then what people told me it would be like. Compared to many community colleges, Clark has a very wide variety of classes for its small campus size. It's full of friendly people, engaging activities and provides a good educational base for those moving on to a four year university. Don't underestimate it for being a community college: classes are equally challenging here as they would be at a university. If you want a cheaper alternative to a four year college that gives you the same level of instruction and provides a welcoming environment, Clark is the answer.

Overall Experience: Few I wasn't find of, but most I like

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: Clark is the first college I've attended so I have no point of reference, but I've had no major issues.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I personally prefer traditional courses and have only taken one hybrid class at Clark, but I had a good experience.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Overall I have had an amazing experience at Clark. I use ratemyprofessor.com before I register for classes and have been happy with the results. I have never had to drop a class and have felt very supported by my professors. There are so many resources available for Clark students. I would definitely recommend Clark to others!

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Classes are offered at conveneient times during the mornings, day, and evenings. Classes fill up quickly in time slots you would need. More than once I've had to "wait until next Quarter" to get a class I needed.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: All my professors have been laid back and friendly. Several ask to be called by their first names. Communication is usually done through the online site so sometimes it can be hard to be clear on assignments or class cancellations. The courses are diverse however due to funding ther was a significant amount cut this year that would have helped a lot of majors.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Clark is highly rated as a community college. Your time and money are well invested. Most graduates transfer to larger colleges and universities at the end of their time here.

Academic Experience: Many people I have come across also are getting an Associates in Arts degree. Art and art degrees tend to be overshadowed by others for being "less realistic" or less "valuable" or important. However there are many classes to take that help in my field and in filling in my requirements I have found many classes I thoroughly enjoyed but would have never thought to take. An example would be Archaeology and World Civilizations. These classes help me get my degree while also allowing me to dive into other subjects I am interested in.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have had positive experiences so far in all the classes I have taken. Though challenging in some aspects there was never a time where I felt I could not do what was asked if me in any class. All my professors have been kind, understanding and fairly laid back. There is a real sense of ease in the classrooms and with all the professors while still remaining as a professional level. It's nice to have a coffee shop and food trucks on campus and snacks available almost everywhere. The walk between buildings can be strenuous but always beautiful. Parking is NOT the best but all find a way to work around it. I love my experiences so far with the people I've met and the things I have done and learned. There are so many opportunities to be involved and to have fun here all while furthering your education.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Most classes are available at mutliple times throughout the day, making it easy to customize my schedule around my schedule without sacrificing certain classes.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I love the online courses that Clark offers and hope that they incorperate more hybrid classes into their curriculum

2 College Junior

Career Services: The career center does a good job at helping students figure out what their options are, but the advisors do a poor job of helping students get there.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I like the professors but the class selection is limited and fill up very quickly. The students are nice but not very friendly.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The career services center is very helpful and I feel like the school gives a lot of flexability for people who work and go to school at the same time. I do not feel like it will do much for my future after school, however, and doesn't do much for students who already know what they want to do and need help getting there.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I feel like a lot of the classes required aren't useful to me.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I love the flexibility of the curriculum and choosing my schedule.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't taken an online class until this quarter, but it's really easy to use Canvas.
