4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Classes are offered at conveneient times during the mornings, day, and evenings. Classes fill up quickly in time slots you would need. More than once I've had to "wait until next Quarter" to get a class I needed.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: All my professors have been laid back and friendly. Several ask to be called by their first names. Communication is usually done through the online site so sometimes it can be hard to be clear on assignments or class cancellations. The courses are diverse however due to funding ther was a significant amount cut this year that would have helped a lot of majors.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Clark is highly rated as a community college. Your time and money are well invested. Most graduates transfer to larger colleges and universities at the end of their time here.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Many people I have come across also are getting an Associates in Arts degree. Art and art degrees tend to be overshadowed by others for being "less realistic" or less "valuable" or important. However there are many classes to take that help in my field and in filling in my requirements I have found many classes I thoroughly enjoyed but would have never thought to take. An example would be Archaeology and World Civilizations. These classes help me get my degree while also allowing me to dive into other subjects I am interested in.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have had positive experiences so far in all the classes I have taken. Though challenging in some aspects there was never a time where I felt I could not do what was asked if me in any class. All my professors have been kind, understanding and fairly laid back. There is a real sense of ease in the classrooms and with all the professors while still remaining as a professional level. It's nice to have a coffee shop and food trucks on campus and snacks available almost everywhere. The walk between buildings can be strenuous but always beautiful. Parking is NOT the best but all find a way to work around it. I love my experiences so far with the people I've met and the things I have done and learned. There are so many opportunities to be involved and to have fun here all while furthering your education.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Most classes are available at mutliple times throughout the day, making it easy to customize my schedule around my schedule without sacrificing certain classes.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: I love the online courses that Clark offers and hope that they incorperate more hybrid classes into their curriculum

2 College Junior

Career Services: The career center does a good job at helping students figure out what their options are, but the advisors do a poor job of helping students get there.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I like the professors but the class selection is limited and fill up very quickly. The students are nice but not very friendly.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: The career services center is very helpful and I feel like the school gives a lot of flexability for people who work and go to school at the same time. I do not feel like it will do much for my future after school, however, and doesn't do much for students who already know what they want to do and need help getting there.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I feel like a lot of the classes required aren't useful to me.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: I love the flexibility of the curriculum and choosing my schedule.

4 College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't taken an online class until this quarter, but it's really easy to use Canvas.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I like the flexibility in my schedule and the teachers are great.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There is a lot of opportunity to network with faculty.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The teachers are super helpful and they really want to help you succeed.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Clark is a great place to be if you want teachers who truly love their jobs.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Flexibility: The school offers a general degree on weekends. There are also a large number of night classes, including many science classes and labs. They seem to meet the needs of adult students, providing the flexibility that is needed to attend a community college. There are many jobs on campus, but not a huge number. I was able to get two jobs and they were willing to work together with my schedule.

3 College Sophomore

Online Courses: Online courses are pretty easy. I like the math classes because you can usually take the tests twice. The questions are different, but usually very similar. This is nice, but gives people an advantage that you dont have in the in class style. I have taken numerous classes online. These classes don't register different on your transcripts.

3 College Sophomore

Career Services: I really don't think that the alumni network is that great, but I think this is par for the course for a community college. The career center is good at helping people and as an alumni I can use the writing center.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There are a wide variety of classes to take, but do to recent budget cuts there has been some cut backs in the classes offered. It is hard to deal with but understandable.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The career services is great. There are a couple of job fairs each year, but I would not say that there is nothing special about the job placement rate.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I like that the professors are really patient with students who ask questions. There are many resources to help students such as free tutoring. There are some hard classes such as physics. The professor is really nice, but is hard to understand. I would suggest getting together with a group of people to teach the material to each other. It might be a good idea to go in together to pay for a tutor.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Clark is a nice school. The teachers are really caring and will help you if you ask them for help. There are a lot of hands on activities to back up the material you learn in class. The classes are fairly easy to get into, but there are wait lists for some classes. It is easy to get involved, but if you encounter a problem with another student the teachers most likely will not help you.

3 College Student

Academic Experience: You have to really focus on the material and really study. If you don't you'll fall behind and have no idea what you are doing.
