Party Scene

Party Scene: Always travel in groups and if you know that you're going to drink find a DD or just simply take an uber or lyft. There are PLENTY of them in the area. There's Mansion Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday, and many more different club events just about everyday of the week. But I will mention Thirsty Thursday will only be severely lit the very first of the school year and the very end on the school year. There may be a few times when one the party promoters on campus will host it during the year and those have a good turn out. Again do not travel by yourself, it's simply just not safe. Also, always bring your cellphone charger and portable one that's fully charged if possible, You do not want to have your phone going dead and may be caught in a situation where you may need it. But, to avoid this altogether make sure your phone is fully charged before you decide to step out in the first place. If you're in a rare situation where you are alone, you can definitely call the campus police in order to get an escort to your dorm once you get to campus.

Party Scene: All parties are within a fair distance of campus. nothing is too far out, if it is, just don't go. Que's are def known to throw great parties. And when they team up with the lovely pearl bearing Delta's there for sure a lituation.

But partying is not for everybody. You do not have to go to e v e r y single party which most don't understand. If you know you got some homework due tomorrow or a big project that needs nightly attention DO NOT take yourself outside to that party. Stay in your dorm, call a friend to keep you company if need be. There will ALWAYS be another, it's not that serious. You have to learn time management and how to balance your life and activities accordingly.

Party Scene: I'm not much of a party-goer, they're fun but repetitive and must know that it's okay to miss a party, you're not missing much.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Same as above but yes I think they can have a positive impact as well as negative.

3 College Senior

Party Scene: Most parties are off campus

Atlanta is filled with colleges and people who love to have fun. On campus, there is always something to do. Every weekend there is somewhere to go and a party to attend. Most parties have a specific theme, such as a Toga Party or a Halloween-themed party. There are even music genre-themed parties that focus on particular genres of music, such as reggae vs. go-go. Most freshmen choose to attend parties that provide shuttle buses that take you to the venue and back to campus. They are very convenient but can get rather crowded at times.

Most clubs are 18 and older, but there are a few that require you to be 21 or older. The 21+ clubs are located in Midtown and Buckhead. The clubs that allow you to enter at 18 usually prohibit you from drinking if you are underage (under 21). Overall, Atlanta's nightlife is one of a kind. There is always something to do and people to mingle with. However, partying can be dangerous at times, too. Remember to always have a form of identification and be aware of your surroundings. You can never be too safe.
