3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I'm only on campus during the day. I feel safe during the day. There is a station with an emergency button to contact campus police. There was an assault a few weeks back at night.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The closest off-campus dining is Wendy's, Subway, and McDonalds with the average prices. In town there is a Bob's Sub, Yolicious, Applebee's, RRR Roadhouse, Sakura Buffet, Hunaun King, Penn Dragon, and a couple pizza places scattered around town. I believe the prices are average for the restaurants. RRR Roadhouse is a bit more expensive, but there is a wing night on Mondays that is about $7 per person.

Administration: I don't know much about the police strictness. The college requires first class attendance but after the first few weeks some teachers quit taking attendance. I don't know what the school does if you quit attending the classes that the teachers do take attendance in. I attend all of my classes.

College Freshman

Party Scene: I haven't attended any parties on campus or college at all. I'm sure there are parties because there is the occasional bottle of rum on the sidewalk on Monday mornings.

4 College Freshman

Campus Food: Eagle Commons has a variety of food. I have only ate there a couple times but it was great each time. It's about $7 to eat if you don't have a meal plan.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I am a commuter and I do not require campus housing.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I would never live off-campus in something not owned by the university. I hear a lot of them do not accept fnancial aid. I do enjoy that our school offers off-campus apartments owned by the school. They are fairly priced and extremely nice. I also could never deal with all the bills such as utitlities if I lived somewhere not owned by the campus. Clarion has a wide variety of off-campus options.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: We have many options with off-campus dining. We have a good amount of fast food and chain resturants. We also have some nice little diners that are nice to go to. The little diners offer cheap and good food. The little diners are my favorite. Clarion also has a good amount of buffets.

4 College Sophomore

Administration: The Administration does a fine job. They want us to all be successful. They inforce what they have to. They are very friendly with students trying to enjoy themselves in safe ways. They also repressent our ideals greatly, too.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I had a decent amount of problems through receiving my financial aid. My loans took forever to disperse. Clarion gave me an extension because of it. Clarion was very helpful in telling me where my money was and the progress with it.

4 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Personally, I am not a partier. I have attended a few, but just socialize. There is usually at least two parties every weekend. They are usually associated with Greek life. I only hear good things about it. People that attend still keep their grades up, so I would say it has a positive effect. Everyone needs to go out once in awhile!

Campus Food: Clarion offers a great and ever-changing menu. Eagle Commons always has different things to eat. It is hard to get sick of something with so many choices. However, sometimes you just want something fast and different. Gemmel has many tasty options as well. I love being able to use board and flex to discount my food. Having a Starbucks on campus is a plus, too.

Campus Housing: I honestly love everything abbout living on campus. It is really cool learning to be independent. The atmosphere makes you accomodate to your studies as well as balancing other things. You also get to meet so many cool people. Living on campus also motivates me to be a bigger art of the school. It really helps you get a sense of pride for the school! The convience of on campus living is great, too. I love being close to my classes.

1 College Sophomore

Majors: Getting in was easy, they lied about how good their communications department was. The smaller professors in the Communication department care about their students, but 2 of the "higher ups" act like Gods and treat their students with no respect.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Some professors know what they are doing, others do not.

2 College Sophomore

Local Area: There is nothing to do after awhile, it gets boring quick.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Some professors are really nice and teach well, while other's can be blockheads and act like they are God when in fact they aren't.

1 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The value of a degree from Clarion is probably equivalent to a HS Diploma plus about $70,000

Athletics: The students do not care about their sports teams. The only students that go to events it seems are the students from other sports teams that support one another and the students that work at the events. It's a disappointment that nobody on campus really cares about the athletics that the university has. Part of that maybe because the lack of winning and lack of Male sports on campus. The University has 9 (soon to be 10) women sports programs against 6 male programs. Only 3 of the Mens programs are major US sports (baseball, football, basketball). The baseball team cancels half their home games and nobody seems to know where to find the field (back of Memorial Stadium).. The Football team can't seem to win more than 5 games in a year, and it's too cold by the end of the year, and the basketball team is slowly on an incline to hopefully some PSAC Championship, but still 4 years away at least. It would be nice for the University to add a mens soccer program (which they can afford) as another "team sport" fans can enjoy.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Off Campus housing is much cheaper than what the University forces students to pay

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Daddys is really good. Michelles is on main (can't use a card though). McDonalds is the only food place I think open past like 11pm though, and that sucks

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: They help when need be.

College Sophomore

Party Scene: Some party loud, others "hangout"in groups

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: Could be better. Repetitive food choice.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: CA/RA write up people for every little thing
