There is a fair amount of off-campus dining. In Pittsburgh, the food options are more diverse. On Main Street, there are a lot of self-owned restaurants. I have been to one of the breakfast places and they are manageable in cost. The newest addition to the off-campus dining is the Sakura Buffet. It is very delicious with a mix of ethnic foods. The only bad thing is that it is kind of pricey. If you eat a lot, you definitely get your moneys worth! The other chain restaurants are not walking distance. There are two convenient restaurants that are walking distance, right off of campus. You can add a thing called, "eagle dollars", to your student ID card. The eagle dollars can be used at a handful of off-campus restaurants.

As an online student, my experiences so far have been great. From speaking with admissions to the registrars office and with the advising team and course professors and other online students, It's as if I am on campus. Everyone has been so friendly and concerning and wanting the best outcome to happen. I have felt welcomed and as a part of the university from the first conversation. I am glad I chose Clarion University as the school to fulfill my degree needs!

I have loved clarion university! It is the perfect size for me with about 6,000 students. Classes are small so professors are able to know their students. I am a speech pathology major and have loved the program so far. I have gotten invovled with the music department and CRU (campus crusade of Christ). I have met so many amazing friends through these two programs. All the people in general at Clarion are so nice and welcoming, including staff, professors, and students.
