Computers are never out of reach for students. There are 24-hour computer labs in the dorms, and students have Internet access via Ethernet connections in their rooms, so they can use a laptop or desktop computer in the comfort of their rooms. The Information Technology department is working on making the dorms wireless, but in the meantime, all the academic buildings, cafeteria, and library support wireless browsing.

The school also has a large computer lab in Bowen Hall that students can use free of charge. However, the operating systems on those computers seriously need to be updated! These computers were not installed with the intent of making them educational devices, so they require updates of software needed for students to view animation or download important documents. Overall, there is not a lack of computer access at Claflin, but students complain that certain programs need to be updated in order to benefit from using the computers in the first place.
