3 College Junior

Online Courses: I have used some online services and they were easy to use and had good ways to communicate with other students.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I have not used these services either but they do offer the services.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The professors stress the fact that it is important to communicate with them after class is over. And they will make time in order to meet with their students. The teachers are also open to the way they they teach.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have not use the career services at the school but I have seen that they offer them quite frequently.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The programs are as good as any in other colleges. The classes provide me great information and advances my knowledge in the subjects. The workload is enough to make sure you understand the subject and also challenges you.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: As most current students will tell you, Truman is a great place to start your journey for higher education. The classes are cheaper than they would be at 4 year college. The smaller classes gives you the opportunity to interact with your teachers more personally. The atmosphere is welcoming and isn't fast paced. Truman is a great starting point and I know the education i get here is as good as any other.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: If I would choose my school again, I wouldn't because my school is not a school for those who want to apply for colleges. Every student in my school just focuses on only one interesting subject.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: I would say that flexibility is average among most colleges. Nothing unique or different.

3 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: I only took one online course and found it difficult to communicate to the instructor (the instructor took days, sometimes weeks to answer emails) and after talking to a few of my classmates, they echo'd the same thing. I would choose an online course as a last resort.

1 Recent Alumnus

Career Services: For nursing, it's non-existent. I wish that there was something in place.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Courses are okay- I wish they were presented in a more logical way- such as focusing on a body system and then moving onto the next body system. Instead, it jumps all over the place.

2 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: There are no career center/services for nurses on campus, no job internship/prospects presented and recruiters have never stepped foot on to campus as far as I know.

2 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: There isn't anything unique about Truman College's nursing program. It pretty much follows the schedule of any other nursing program. Some of the professors can be amazing, however the nursing department is a trainwreck and that is being nice.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Most of the professors are outstanding. The nursing department and financial department is a completely different matter. I will get a response right away from a professor, but if I email or leave voicemail for someone in the nursing department, I'm lucky if anyone responds. It's sad because the school could be really great, but there are so many inconsistencies and last minute changes that can be detrimental to a students overall class experience and grade. Now that I have graduated, I would more than likely look to the other city colleges if I was required to take a class.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The experience was just fine. I didn't feel like there was a lot of problems working with the schedule, only a few minor problems.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Many of the professors were great. Some were just ok.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I only went to this school for a year to get some general education courses out of the way before attending my 4 year school.
