Academic Experience

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I would like to major in Business.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are a wide range of courses offered. The class registration process is very simple, but unfortunately is is a very long process.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Harold Washington's best program as a whole is the Business Majors and that's what my school is known for. My major in computer science isn't neglected but I must say the coursework isn't as challenging as our business counterparts. We do have projects, programming assignments and computer coursework so I can say I am getting my money's worth from our program but I feel like we can get so much more if we had state of the art equipment and free laptops for all students. We have an adequate job and internship placement program so I can't complain about that. Overall it's a good Computer Science program but not great.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Our professors are great teachers and mentors. They have all worked in their field at one time or even managed their own business in that area. I enjoy our faculty because they want us to succeed and therefore we get that tough treatment the same way the world would treat us. I say tough because there are no excuses when it comes to our curriculum. Either you get the subject or you don't and if you don't you have an opportunity to seek help.

1 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: its similar to a high school, so the best thing you could do is work towards your associates Degree at this school, and from there transfer to a 4 year college or University.
