1 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: This is a good school for some one who is looking for a smooth transition from high school to college. It has the High School vibe with the independents of a College. I would say only go here if you don't already have plan for school, but are still looking to go. This school can help set one up for you. Work for an Associates Degree, and then transfer to a 4 year college or university.

College Sophomore

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online classes wit Harold Washington College.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: from what I seen it was a mixed crowd. Most of the students make friends based on the classes they have together.

5 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: with me everything was free, but it really all depends on your income, interest of study, grades prior to you applying for the school.

1 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: its similar to a high school, so the best thing you could do is work towards your associates Degree at this school, and from there transfer to a 4 year college or University.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: It is basic. You learn what you need to based on your interest of study, and you can always change classes giving you other options if something doesn't seem to be working out with a class.

1 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: It does not have many programs set up. however they do have the basics to help you pass your classes.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Great if you like a High School Class size. About 20 to 35 people per class.

1 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Use this school as a base for college. Never do a full 4 years with them. The best thing is to work for an Associates Degree and then transfer to a 4 year College or University.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: Average from what I seen. I didn't really talk to many people, but the people I spoke with were friendly people. Most people gain the friends in class rather than in passing.

4 College Sophomore

Tuition & Financial Aid: Tuition was all paid for for me. It all depends on your income in terms of your Financial Aid. They charge based on credit and/or class depending on your major.

Online Courses: I am not taking an online course. But I have heard and talk with someone who was taking an online course, and told me if you are taking a math online that, it is a bad idea mostly because it's hard. So far all she told me was that her English 102 class online was good going good for her.

3 College Sophomore

Student Body: In my classes their are students that I sometimes want them to shut up, only because they take up most of the class time and then we don't even get to where we are supposed to do. Yes, in some ways they are smart, and in my class we have students who are in their 40s, or 50s and 30s. So some of those students are the Ones that take up time in some ways. But in my other class that is credit, are from Iran, and we have others who speak different languages Which is great! And I think that it is really cool.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am taking 3 classes that are non-credit classes, is what people are complaining about and so am I. It is a waste of money. They send us stuff about internships and jobs but I feel like that is mostly for people who are about to graduate on the job list area.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: The registration process was awful, they have clubs to join in to make new friends, and met with new people. Which is good but I didn't join maybe in my next semester.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: I mostly do my work, and barely talk to other people. But they are nice in enough to help you when you need help. The only problem that I did not like was the registration process it took mostly forever and since the weather in Chicago is bad. I hated it.

5 College Junior

Campus Resources: I really like the school it gives me support with my home work

3 College Junior

Career Services: It was ok I mean it was a little helpful it really gave me support on finding me a college

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: So far my academic experience has opened my eyes to pursue higher education and has motivated me not to give up so easily.

5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Ive had the best academic flexibility with both my teachers and administrators. All my teachers have extend work for me due to unexpected situations. The staff at HWC is great, they let you know whenever there is something wrong with your payment information and class schedules.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I don't have any experience with any online courses.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: My thoughts on my schools financial aid process is that its not offered to those who arent born here in the United States. The schools financial aid also lacks in funding those who only attend school to receive a refund check.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Student career prospects really motivate students who think they cant make something out of themselves. The administration really pushes you to not give up.

3 College Junior

Student Body: A typical studnet at my school is very hard working, Students at my schools never seem to give up when they come to obstacle that may bring there goals down or motivation. these students are strong people that can overcome any obstacle.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The student center at my college is full of good vibes and role models.
