Overall Experience: It has been okay. Some professors have been great some have been awful. I have had almost no help with advisors.

Online Courses: Online courses are more focused on learning rather that having to share discussions with classmates.

Academic Flexibility: This school couldn't have been more convenient! I get a free Ventra pass for transportation so I just ride downtown for free. Also my school's is in the heart of downtown so I can eat any kind of food I have a taste for or go to the lake and relax or study. There are just so many options I love it.

Overall Experience: I can honestly say attending this school was the best decision I've ever made. This has been my first college experience but it wasn't difficult at all. From my first day I can tell that everyone wanted me to succeed even the security guards. Now I have the confidence to transfer and be a success as I move on with my life.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My course experience has been good so far. The average class size is a fair amount considering how many students are attending. I just wish we all recieved a complementary laptop not just the upperclassmen. Besides that our professors are to the point and very helpful. This is a great school to introduce you to the university life.

Overall Experience: Our school has an excellent job recruitment program. As a matter of fact on the day of my orientation I was able to witness one of our Recruiting Days and it was very informative. There were employers as well as University recruiters from all over the chicago area and i can tell a lot of work was put into that day. I can honestly say I can't wait until my recruitment day!

Online Courses: I haven't personally been able to enroll and take part in an online class but I have heard from others that these classes get the job done. Classmates have said they enjoy the flexibility of online classes but they don't like having to take certain tests at the school. Other than that I've heard no complaints.

Student Body: We have such a vast difference in student members and I know its because we live in this diverse city of Chicago. We have members of all sexes, religions, etc and it's a direct reflection of where we live. We don't have any special cliques or groups because everyone can widen out and actually work with anyone in their class. This is the one aspect I really appreciate about our school and I'll never forget it.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have yet to find a school with such affordable tuition. I have no complaint with our tuition process but I do feel like our financial aid office could've worked faster in helping me recieve my aid. Otherwise everything else was fine and I would recommend Harold Washington to anyone looking for reasonable tuition and a good education.

Career Services: Our career center is comprised of an efficient team that seek the best opportunities for their students. I enjoy how we can get help on resume writing, interview soft skills, internships and job searching. From what I've seen we have a wide variety of local businesses and corporations to collaborate with for internships and we have opportunities for job placement as well. I thoroughly appreciate our career services team because otherwise my college experience would be that much more difficult.

Academic Experience: Harold Washington's best program as a whole is the Business Majors and that's what my school is known for. My major in computer science isn't neglected but I must say the coursework isn't as challenging as our business counterparts. We do have projects, programming assignments and computer coursework so I can say I am getting my money's worth from our program but I feel like we can get so much more if we had state of the art equipment and free laptops for all students. We have an adequate job and internship placement program so I can't complain about that. Overall it's a good Computer Science program but not great.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: Our professors are great teachers and mentors. They have all worked in their field at one time or even managed their own business in that area. I enjoy our faculty because they want us to succeed and therefore we get that tough treatment the same way the world would treat us. I say tough because there are no excuses when it comes to our curriculum. Either you get the subject or you don't and if you don't you have an opportunity to seek help.
