1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Students are required to live on campus for 3 years, and all 4 years if they want to keep a scholarship. I extremely dislike the policy and disagree with its implementation

Off-Campus Housing: There are some good places you just have to look and find them yourself

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I don't know much about the off campus housing, but I do have some friends that used to live off campus. I went there once and it was pretty dirty. I would rather live on campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I've never lived off-campus but most students are forced or choose to remain on campus

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: As a student, you are not able to live off campus until your senior year which I think is stupid.

True, our dorms are just as nice if not nicer than most apartments, but sometimes people want to be on their own.

There are tons of apartments available in the Newport News area with great prices (and pet availability.) School will not help you find an apartment as far as I know.

There are several apartment complexes within ten minutes of campus.
