3 College Junior

Academics: Academics are okay - nothing spectacular. Some professors are great and really encourage learning, others are awful and feel like they should be teaching high school. The university has no standout programs, although history seems to be a relatively popular major - but again, it's nothing special. If you're looking for an amazing education, this is not the place for you. There isn't a wide variety of majors, and the majors themselves are very broad. Examples are "History" (as opposed to history of a certain timeframe), "English," "biology," etc. The school funding definitely doesn't prioritize itself on the academics.

Academics: The department is lacking in course variety and research opportunities. Some professors are great, others aren't.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: CNU has a wide variety of majors and minors to fit any student's dreams. The registration process, while hectic, allows students to plan their schedule exactly how they like, all online. The professors always work with students to make sure classroom material is being understood and synthesized, not just "read".
