Overall Experience: Unlike big universities, Chattanooga State community colleges' professors and advisers work one on one with the students to help them succeed and to aide them in any problems they have from paperwork to the classroom. The professors get to know you on a personal level and are always there to help.

Overall Experience: Chattanooga State is a beautiful campus! Everyone is welcoming, and also very helpful.

Overall Experience: The Radiation Therapy cohort program is great. It's like a college within the college with a built in community. Everyone is exceptionally nice and once you're accepted in to the program, you're essentially accepted into the family.

Campus Resources: Being a freshman I expected going to college to be an amazing experience. The teachers are horrible, they don't actually take the time out to cordially introduce new things to us. They brows over things within seconds. The student librarian is suppose to be available at all times while the library is open. I went in the library during school hours to type a paper searching for the librarian for about 15-20 minutes looking for help on a certain website that the school uses. I was completely baffled at how I couldn't find someone in charge. I have managed to keep a 3.7 gpa with these horrible conditions of schooling I have been given. If I am given this scholarship it would help TREMENDOUSLY. If I accumulate enough scholarships my plans are to transfer to TSU for the 2016 fall classes where I will be majoring in nursing to become a Oncologist in a children's hospital. This scholarship would mean so much to me, thank you.

Academic Flexibility: My work schedule forms around my school schedule. I would rather it be the other way around.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It's not the best college to go to, but it's cheap and prepares students to transfer.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Some of the professors connect with the students while others do not want to be at class.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: They do not help you find a job unless you go to them with a question.

Student Body: My school does not have the best environment. The students are weird and a lot of them don't care about their education.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition is fairly expensive but the scholarships will help with that.

Career Services: The career center helped me look for a new job. I am currently looking for a Computer Engineering internship.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The teachers help me with whatever problems I have in the class. They have helped me look for jobs, as well.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: The classes are not that difficult. The teachers do a great job teaching me through everything.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: The Campus is okay. Nothing outstanding, just a basic campus.

4 College Freshman

Student Body: Since it's a community college, there isn't much socializing outside of class!

Tuition & Financial Aid: Awesome!!!! All of my tuition is paid, and I get excess money for living, gas, food, books, and so on! The staff is great, too! Very helpful and sweet.

4 College Freshman

Career Services: I don't know much about it, because I am just a freshman.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: I have yet to declare a major, so I'm just taking general courses until I transfer! I like it okay, but it is a little boring! A few classes feel like high school.

4 College Freshman

Academic Experience: There are many programs offered, however, I am just taking general courses. I hear that the nursing program is fantastic, though, and know many people doing it!

4 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The counselors and financial aid administers are very helpful, fast, and kind. :)

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: The campus is great! The library just had a few minor changes and updates. The gym is pretty nice too!

3 College Freshman

Online Courses: Most of the General Ed math classes are almost completely computer based, and it can get quite frustrating sometimes because you have to enter the answer into the computer EXACTLY as it wants it. One space extra and it counts it wrong

Overall Experience: Class size is excellent, 15-20 tops. Teachers are good, have not come across any jerks yet. The quality of courses varies, but they seem decent.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: All the General Ed classes fill up very fast, but there are many of them. There is a very wide range from eight in the morning classes to 5 pm classes.
