Overall Experience: In my overrall experience I would do it again if I had the chance. The class sizes are small and comfortable. The teachers are willing to work with you outside of the class. If they can not they will find someone how can. Something I really like is the abiltity to sign up for the 3rd year and transfer out to complete your final year.

Career Services: I have not made to this point yet in my education but from what I hear, the staff all are from different walks of life. Many are gradutes from the school and were able to transfer without a problem and with help.

Academic Flexibility: Well considering when I decided to attend college the first time, I did not do enough research on the school I would be attending. I did not know that credits would not be transfered due to the type of accredation. I would not take my decision and hardwork back at all. I feel like my first degree helped me as a guide to make to the next in life.

Student Body: Everyone that attends school has diverse backgrounds. there are people from all walks life. The ages of students varies from older to younger depending on the time of the day. Most students who attend school at night are challenged with working full time jobs and raisng children.

Tuition & Financial Aid: i give my school a D because they are slow at getting your finacial aid and they base it on attendance. they dont really care if you have a valid doctors note.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: i love the fact that the professors work with students one on one, and most of the professors there work with you until you know what your doing. Sometimes they just seem to work a little to fast and people start to get off track but overall they are good.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: i simply apply myself the best i can, and i guess i'm smarter than i thought i was.

Career Services: Most people who graduate from there who cannot frind a job are typically given a job at the college. Usually working in the offices or helping around the college.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: I love the overall atmosphere at the college. The teachers are execellent and the class room sizes are wonderful. I also really enjoy the coursework. The required work there is pretty tough yet manageable. It requires just the right amount amount of difficulty and thinking of the student without overwhelming them into having to drop out. The only thing is the technology at this college is not as new at other colleges around it.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: The professors interact with the students more since the classes are small. This helps if you need help or have a question they are always there to help you. Since the classes are small the professor can help you one on one and not with ten other people.

3 College Senior

Campus Resources: The technology at Chatfield is out of date. The computers run slow and it takes a long time to get anything finished on them. The library is great, it was just remodeled and has many books to help with projects or papers.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: The library is being upgraded. The Librarians help you find all the resources you nee. There is a class that all students have to take when enrolled here. It teaches the students where and how to you the resources.

5 College Senior

Career Services: After graduation they point you in the right direction to find a job and also show you how and where to get information on possible jobs and even furthering you education.

1 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm getting my associates in Liberal Arts. But i wanted to do nursing. when i first came to Chatfield they told me they had a contract with Good Samaritan hospital and after i finish my core classes here i would start going there. As it turns out the contract fell through. Which means I'm on my own. I need a scholarship to pay for the college i want to transfer to.

3 College Junior

Student Body: Chatfield has a student body, but they are not very involved.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The biggest concern with this college is that I feel that they are very poor with their resources and the courses they have. But I love the professors, the small classes, and the campus.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I have a full ride scholarship to my college i go to now. But the problem i am having is the school does not have a nursing program, which means i am technically getting my associates in liberal arts and then transferring to a nursing school after i finish here. Which means that it is getting very costly.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: The classes are very flexible with schedules. You can schedule your classes around your work schedule or any personal schedule you have. Most of the credits you receive at Chatfield will transfer to most other colleges you pick.

4 College Senior

Campus Resources: I am new to college. I wasn't sure where to go or what to do, what was the best options for me. A couple faculity members took time out of their day to set with me and explore my options. What would work for me as a mom and what I could afford is how they helped me plan my class schedule. I was not pushed into doing more than I can handle. I liked that becuse I have been known to jump in to deep and fell.

2 College Junior

Academic Experience: Liberal arts associate degree is the most popular some minors in business social work. Human services and early childhood education. Work load is light for all so I have heard. Class regisration is easy. Curriculum lacks challenge.

2 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: I love the convience of class times just lack of technology is a hassle. Also the lask of challenge offered makes the experience a little less than desirable. I have never attempted transfering credits so we will see.

Online Courses: There is no online courses offered at Chatfield. Most professors are willing to communicate via email. The lack of avaliable technolgy makes things strenuous when it comes to submitting assignments, checking grades, seeing scores. I actually experienced hands on a mistake on my report card. I was issued a B when I really made an A in the class and would never have known if I had not asked for a break down of my grades on each assignments. The work load is extremely simple. Honestly I had more assignments in high school and they were much more difficult than any assignment I've ever had at Chatfield. I feel as though the curriculum lacks difficulty (little room for development). Registration is the only online feature avaliable and even then when you visit the college you have to reregister so it's kind of a waste of your time. Classes are small so you get a ton of one on one attention however when there are three kids in the class you. see little peer interaction and it reduces the amount of critical thinking that goes on in the class room I believe.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have been able to apply some of, if not all of the knowledge, that I have learned. I have a better understanding of different cultures and if something is the matter, I have the critical thinking tools to figure out the nature of the problem.

4 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: Coming into Chatfield I was blind to a few of my academics, but when I found out that the major I wanted to persue was there, I took my academic future into my own hands. I have had previous experiences where I did not have that freedom. If needed the guidance, it was always there.
