Overall Experience: I love everything about this school.

Overall Experience: I love everything about it.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I feel pretty safe on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus, but my friends love it.

5 College Sophomore

Greek Life: We don't have Greek life at all.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: The athletics are very important at CSU.

5 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love this school. There's nothing bad to say.

1 College Junior

Academics: I just think the nursing process is extremely hard when it comes to registering. The other majors can just register for classes.Nurses can't, we have to have a meeting where we draw from a hat and an advisor helps register us. That needs to be stopped. I wonder if MUSC students have to do this?

5 College Junior

Diversity: I try not to see color or religion. I just see human beings. I just wish this world especially the USA would stop basing everything on color and religion.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: I truly do not know. I don't live on campus and I do not hang around addicts.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: It's okay. I prefer the larger classes though.

Athletics: Facilities at Santa Fe are not the greatest and the athletes deserve a lot more. With that being said, it was very fun even though the facilities aren't great. The coaches and members of the teams really worked hard with that they were given, without much complaining or nagging. My overall experience as a college athlete has been great, and I hope it will remain that way at Charleston Southern, the school I am transferring to.

Overall Experience: I chose Santa Fe College right out of high school because I was offered a chance to play baseball at the college level. It was always a dream for me to do so. Any junior college offers the same classes, so academically, the choice was easy. I wanted to complete my dream of playing college baseball, as well as earning my Associates Degree. Now that I am done with Santa Fe, I have received a scholarship to play baseball at a Christian school in South Carolina called Charleston Southern. It has always been one of my dreams to play division 1 baseball, but I was not aware of how much it actually costs to go off to college. Earning money to pursue my dream is just another stepping stone I am willing to try in order to earn my bachelors degree, while playing baseball.

Party Scene: Good parties are few and far between. We always find something to do on the weekend but it isn't always raggers or lots of people.

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: Party scene isn't very loud. We have few big parties a year. Football parties are filled with unpleasant people.

5 College Sophomore

Academics: The curriculum is tough and professors are sometimes fair.

3 College Sophomore

Diversity: The college is mostly white Christians.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: They search rooms regularly and enforce the rules.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The nursing program has been great, the staff is amazing and the curriculum is very tough. I can tell that everyone on staff really cares, and professors are always there to help, especially in the nursing program because they know it's tough. The class sizes are usually about 30 people of less which is great because class interaction is more personal. The professors that I have had so far have done a great job at keeping the classes interesting.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: In my opinion Charleston Southern University is a great place to earn a degree, and employers look at the graduates very highly. I know when I graduate I will already have a job lined up for me at a local hospital.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel moderately safe on campus. After midnight they require a student ID for people to get onto campus and that makes me feel more safe. There was an occasion where someone threatened to shoot up the school, and they did not cancel classes. I felt very unsafe that day, that was the only occasion that I did not feel safe on campus.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I personally did not like living on campus, it was pretty cramped and they seemed to be overly strict on the rules. It was nice living near a lot of people that share the same interests, but I would say that's the only positive.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I know a few people who are involved in Greek life, but there is not many. Greek life is not a big part of campus, non- greek students don't think much about students who are involved in Greek life.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Student involvement in sports is average. There is a good group of people who have a lot of school spirit and regularly attend sports events, but it is not a huge part of campus life. The fact that it is a private college makes it a little less interesting, because we rarely play against colleges with big names.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love going to a smaller college because it is a more personal learning experience, and it is easy to get one on one time with a professor if help is needed. I would definitely choose Charleston Southern University if I had to do it all over again.
