Campus Housing: I like it but I feel like everyone here is perfect.

Overall Experience: Honestly, all that this school is concerned with is religion. There is no push to grow academically. All of the classes are an absolute joke, except for the required Christian studies ones, of course! Those are taken extra seriously. You'll meet one or two professors that actually seem to care about what they do, the rest are obviously just along for the ride. I am so excited to transfer and get out of this place.

Overall Experience: There isn't much talk about what happens after you leave here. There aren't many, if any, options for job-hunting help. You're basically on your own.

College Freshman

Greek Life: The Greek life goes on without much notice. They don't do very much and no one hears from them. I'm not familiar with them.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: The campus is surrounded only by fast food chains, but all of the ones that stay open very late. This helps in part to make up for the lack of dining on campus.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I have had the most trouble with the financial aid office. They are very slow. I've been dealing with them nonstop since I started, and I'm almost done with my second semester. Once they realized I needed things expedited so I could get my materials together to transfer schools, they slowed down even more.

Off-Campus Housing: There are lots of affordable apartment in close proximity of CSU

Administration: They keep good control of campus

4 College Junior

Scholarships: It is a hard job.

College Junior

Party Scene: I do not know about the party life. I am in the adult classes.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: They have good option and alternatives.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus. What I can see it is good.

2 College Junior

Greek Life: During the period that most Greek organizations are looking to recruit is about the only time I've seen them

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There are a few places right off campus, like Waffle House, Dunkin Doughnuts, Subway, Firehouse Subs, Starbucks, Arby's.

Academics: The curriculum is difficult, but not impossibly so. As long as you take a work load that isn't overwhelming with too many classes, it is manageable, though there are a few more christian classes that are required to graduate so most degree paths can take up to 5 years.

4 College Junior

Local Area: Charleston is a wonderful city with lots to do, as long as you know where to look. Downtown has a lot of options, and there is a bus that takes you there from campus. The Battery is a good place to visit, along with Folly Beach. Market Street and King street are good for shopping.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: It's pretty streamlined process, though usually it's a slow process and financial aid doesn't actually get awarded until a month or so after school has started.

3 College Junior

Campus Food: The cafeteria, java cafe, and chickfilet. The cafeteria is the most affordable, but the least appealing, while chickfilet is so expensive with relatively few options, and the java cafe is a coffee shop with a few food options as well.

4 College Junior

Athletics: There is a great atmosphere that surrounds sports activities and athletes, and it definitely shows at the athletic events with how much support the school, students, and faculty show at games.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The prices can range from cheap to expensive, though you pay for what you get. Most of the expensive apartments are only average in most cases, and the cheap ones are really not very good quality.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: The dorms are decent sizes, there is a good atmosphere. Very expensive though.

3 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: there are still minor crimes that are on campus but to ensure that one crime, sexual assault, cease to exist is for students to have to sign their guests in and keep their doors open.

5 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The only thing i can really say is that its best to keep all your documents up to date and with you.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: the best place to go for a late night run for some food would have to be cookout in my opinion. its in walking distance, they have the cookout tray which is the students discount and the food is good annd cheap.
