Health & Safety: If a crime ever gets committed, it's most likely just a wheel on a tire from a bike. Safety services are enforced on campus and even in the library. And programs are provided for women to teach them defensive techniques if they are ever attacked on campus.

Health & Safety: There are hotlines for every safety issue you could possibly encounter stuck to nearly every mirror on campus! I've never felt unsafe at Chapman.

Health & Safety: I couldn't feel any safer on campus

Health & Safety: The safety on campus is great but around the campus safety is not as high. Many break ins.

Health & Safety: I have never had an issue with on campus safety or health. As far as I'm concerned they are accessible. I have only had to call once and it was because my car would not start. They attended to my needs very quickly and were friendly.

Chapman is very safe and students feel comfortable walking to their dorms at night. The small campus is always well lit and populated in the evenings, so students are never alone. Public Safety doesn't have a noticeable presence on campus, but it will provide any service as soon as a student calls. For example, if you feel unsafe walking back to the residence centers at night, you can reach Public Safety 24/7 and request a ride. Students are also very respectful. Wallets, bicycles, and purses are almost always returned to the lost and found, and students trust one another enough to leave their laptops unattended at the library if they need to leave for a bit.

The Chapman University Student Health Center adds to the sense of safety at Chapman by offering a wide range of services, including immunizations and pregnancy and STD screenings. The health center, conveniently located across the street from campus, is available to all undergraduate students. Overall, safety and security at Chapman is excellent. The University makes a tremendous effort so students feel at ease anytime on campus, from the crack of dawn to midnight.
