Academic Flexibility: Everything went smoothly with transferring though the student email and student center are a tad clunky and the student center online isn't necessary when the messages could be sent directly to email so you don't have to check multiple outlets for messages.

Online Courses: It made it convenient, but I felt I missed out on learning more effectively.

Career Services: They are so piss poor they didn't even prepare me for a bachelor's degree.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Most teachers were pretty great, others like the student teachers not so much as they didn't really bother to teach.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: We had none of that our college was pretty sub-par at best.

Academic Experience: Need a lot more classes available in my major.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: Could use work on advisers as they don't really help guide you on your path through college.

Academic Experience: Creative writing being my major, it involved a lot of research, reading and writing of papers. But, because of the way my professors had set up their curriculum, it was a great way to learn. The homework was easy enough, and the workload can be considered somewhat light, but they still had you searching and even digging for answers. They wanted good work and clear answers and anything less was unacceptable, and because of the work we had done in class, it SHOULD have been accepted with that precision.

Our curriculum that semester had been really focused on self-improvement. We read many books pertaining to life-stories and folktales, for the lesson to be brought forth in a simpler way. The books we had to read were great, and they really did help when it came to studying and eventually finals. For finals, we had gone to a local Boys and Girls club to explain to the kids how important it is to consider and even know their worth, as well as the importance of even having a mentor. It had a really great turn out.

Overall Experience: Being 16, home-schooled for the last five years, and in my first year of college, it was nerve-wracking entering in. I thought I was going to be overwhelmed and even left behind, but my professors were great! I got the help I needed and was able to successfully finish my first semester. I had set a goal for myself to get top grades, and to really focus on my school work. The school was amazing for making you feel very welcomed, as well as all the events they held helped you to get out and meet new people.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I have had great help with choosing my next classes and the teachers really want to see you succeed.

4 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: I had hassles with some of the instructors at times. Overall, it was usually smooth sailing.

4 College Senior

Online Courses: Online courses are great. They typically function similar to in person classes.

4 College Senior

Career Services: The school system in general has a large alumni network.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: The instructors at the school are great. All of the ones I took classes from really knew their material.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: It's basically a stepping stone in your academic career.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Academics are good. However, they are also easy to manage.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: All of the instructors I had here were great.

2 College Sophomore

Career Services: The services are discouraging. I have been directed in the wrong path by the services of CGCC. Not only I have been wrongly directed but a few of my friends have too.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The class sizes are well put together.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Most advisors are very discouraging.

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: All of my professers have given me a great education.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I have had a successful and great learning experience at Chandler-Gilbert this past year. CGCC has motivated me to suceed higher than I thought I was capable of.

5 College Senior

Academic Flexibility: You can choose any classes you want as long as they are available. No prerequisite class. That's great!

4 College Senior

Career Services: They told me the credits here are transferable. I did not try to transfer credits because I already have a bachelor's degree. I came here for flight training purpose.

5 College Senior

Overall Experience: $80 per credit. No kidding cheap to me. Flight fee is fair. For C172S, $132/hour and instructor fee $56/hour. They have very good condition fleet and the facility. Our fleet is composed of C172S, Piper seminole, Beechcraft King Air.
