5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Burlington has everything. Food is fantastic from KKDs to the Skinny Pancake to any other restaurant!

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Burlington has a lot of great food options and restaurants. There are plenty of places open late on the weekends and great healthy organic options everywhere.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are a ton of places to eat all around Burlington, especially on Main Street and Church Street. KKD's (a sandwich shop) is open until 3 a.m., and Wings Over Burlington and Dominos deliver until 1 a.m. In general, I am very happy with the off campus dining options. They're all easy to get to and there are a lot of options.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Always something to eat that is close. Lots of places deliver and some of them accept CC cash as a form of payment. Also there's 863 togo that delivers food to you from places that don't deliver themselves. Things stay open relatively late and there's a lot of variety.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Aoot of off campus dining but its way to expensive to go more then once a week.

On such a small campus, Champlain does not have any off-campus food vendors, but downtown Burlington is less than a mile away. Downtown Burlington and the surrounding areas have a surplus of restaurants to satisfy any craving or address any dietary need. There are many restaurants committed to fresh ingredients and local fare, and almost all have vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options. The restaurants on Church Street in Burlington are a little more expensive. Many are appropriate for meetings, dates, or when family is visiting. Otherwise, there are more convenient selections with delivery options to campus. A walk down to KKD’s (Kountry Kart Deli) is common for a late-night meal, and many students get wings delivered from Wings Over Burlington or pizza from Mr. Mike’s or Big Daddy’s. There is even a cookie delivery place called Vermont Cookie Creations that makes custom cookies and delivers them to your door!

Even if you don’t live or work on Main Campus, there are many restaurants near Champlain’s Miller Center at Lakeside and around Spinner Place in Winooski. Food is never far away, but students need to watch their spending when it comes to off-campus dining, especially when they already have an unlimited meal plan on campus.
