Academic Experience: I am currently taking my final classes that can be taken before the program I will be applying for, but most of them are things you can do in the program as well because they pertain to the information I would be learning, such as anatomy and physiology. The workload, in my opinion right now, is what's to be expected. There is a lot to take in in a short period of time and most of my professors do a pretty great job of teaching a lot in that short time. Some of the curriculum is difficult, but as long as you are working hard and studying, there is no reason to fail. The facilities are nice, and most are comfortable for everyone. I am currently an STNA and even just with that certification while I am in school is very helpful when looking for jobs.

Academic Experience: There are a variety of different academics offered at the college I attend, but there could be more. It is also a school for 2-year degrees, which isn't a bad thing, but some workplaces would prefer a higher education. The professors in my experience and from the experiences of others I know, are overall knowledgeable of their specific field and can convey what is being taught in a well fashioned manner so that most students can walk out of the room saying they learned something that day. The class registration can be good or bad, it just depends on who you are dealing with. Some of the advisers are great and very helpful, but some are not. There have been more than one occasions that and adviser made me feel like I was just another number and I ended up in classes I probably should have been advised not to take yet and ended up having to withdraw and try a different route (take another class to prepare for the class I had to withdraw from). Because the school is a technical school, special studies would probably have to be taken at another school that offers higher degrees of education, or just more options in education in general. I believe the program most affiliated with this school in the Nursing program, it seems to be the one program you find the most people aiming to land a spot in.

Academic Experience: Nursing program students receive priority registration when signing up for classes, seems like most of the campus looks up to those in the nursing uniform while walking in the halls/classrooms.

Academic Experience: Instructors are generally helpful and will assist with any questions that students have even after classroom hours, at times the workload can be overbearing but I think that is generally the case in this setting.

Academic Experience: I am currently working towards an Associate of Science degree. Since it is not a specific subject, I have many classes I am able to choose from. Having so much freedom as to my academic path has been very nice.
