Academic Experience

Academic Experience: I am in the veterinary technology program at CNM, and I love it! It's a lot of hard work and a lot of information to take in, but it is really cool :) The professors are awesome. The workload is fairly heavy, but manageable. The curriculum is good. The facilities could be better, but I think they are working on improving them. Once you finish the program and pass the national and state exams, I think it will be relatively easy to find a job, especially in New Mexico, which is where the program is located.

Academic Experience: Most of the professors that I have had have been really good and they genuinely care for the students and want them to succeed. All of them know their stuff, although some of them are better at communicating that than others are. The curriculum overall is pretty good. The class registration process is ok, although for getting into the coordinated entry programs can be tricky and stressful because they don't have a cap on who is eligible to apply, but they only have 25 or 50 (depending on which program) openings, so if you aren't at the computer and logged in right at the scheduled time, you don't even have a chance of getting in because they can fill up in less than 20 seconds.

Academic Experience: The classes are too big. being someone who is not a fan of people I'm very uncomfortable in a big class.

Academic Experience: The professors are nice. I have not had a problem with them. The curriculum is not bad, it is some what of a challenge.

Academic Experience: The nursing program at the Rio Rancho campus is very well equipped. The program could use some structuring work (organization)
