Career Services: My professors have been very helpful with me after I graduated

Tuition & Financial Aid: The financial aid office was fantastic. The only challenge I faced is that my undergraduate fasfa ran out at the end of my second to last semester. This had nothing to do with the school, but I am still paying the outstanding balance and they won't allow release of my transcript until it's paid in full. Still, the school let me graduate with my class for which I was grateful

Student Body: I loved my classmates. The class was entirely caucasian, and out of 21 students, 5 were male. We all got along wonderfully from day one

Campus Resources: Most of what we needed was right in our own building. The parking situation was a pain because nursing students also attended the school, and received all the off street parking. The radiology students were left to park on the street, and during the winter this was especially challenging. There was a small lounge, a library, and a study area which was adequate. The school could really use on-site ATM. There was not a gym or athletic center

Online Courses: As and elective, I took a patient care online course during the summer. Many of the classes that we physically had an online component, but this patient care course was almost exclusively online. The best part of this course was the fact that it was online. As full time students, we were in class Monday and Wednesdays for about 10 hours a day, then we attended clinicals rotations for 8 hours on the other days. Not having to travel to school or clinicals for a class was a bonus. The interaction, communication, etc was all top notch

Academic Experience: The workload is heavy, as the program is accelerated, so its certainly not easy. In addition to knowning patient care protocols, a radiology student has to be proficient in human anatomy, position techniques, technical factors affecting x-rays, and technical knowledge of the equipment. Also, CPR and BLS, and medical terminology are required. Most of the class has attained a career in the Radiology field.

Academic Experience: Students have a set progression through the program, so most of classes are selected for the student the moment they pass the current semester. There were some elective courses available to students, for which is was very easy to enroll in. All classes were held at one campus. Students had the freedom to request special study sessions for difficult topics as needed. The professors were outstanding in every way

Academic Flexibility: This was an accelerated program, so the course load was a clear 60 hour per week committment. The academic part of the program could not have been better. The clinical part, as I mention previously, had some down falls. Not only was there a "Good old boys" click atmosphere, but there wasn't a broad understanding of student expectations and requirements from technologist to technologist

Overall Experience: The faculty was extremely helpful, understanding, and invested in each students success. The radiology program was intense, and we were pushed to do our best, but we knew our instructors had our backs. The only downside to any of this had to do with the outside-clinical portion at local hospitals. The light rooms were very "clicky" and there was drama involved that students really need no part of

Overall Experience: The professors were excellent both in delivery and with help us achieve our goals. The classes were 20 students maximum, which was perfect, and the content was very interesting

Student Body: i think there could be more mix

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: I appreciate that everyone is there just for xray.
