Overall Experience: The courses I'm taking I have interest in and apply to my associates degree. I do not feel like I am wasting my time with classes that won't transfer. Instructors are excellent, they are very friendly and willing to help you out with anything.

Class sizes are small and the courses are quality.

Overall Experience: There are multiple pieces to this. Some people are here to get their associates degree and transfer to a university, while others are involved in a technical program such as welding or heavy machinery. In terms of students pursuing their AA almost all plan to transfer to a 4-year therefore students are continuing with their education and not going straight into a career. With the technical part of the college the career programs are excellent from what I've heard. People in the welding department have a very easy time getting a job. All the technical careers the school offers tend to be in high demand.

Academic Experience: I'm in the AA transfer curriculum and it seems to be up to par in giving students the ability to transfer to a university and achieving a degree. The teachers are great. Every one that I've had knows me by name. The academic advisors help a lot with making sure the classes you're taking translate to getting an associates degree. Also, the classes are challenging but very manageable. I am learning a lot and am having a good academic experience.

Overall Experience: Overall, I've had a great experience at Central Lakes College. My favorite aspects are the small class sizes, supportive faculty and administration, strong athletic programs, and helpful campus. Has everything you need for a community or technical college.

Campus Resources: The resources are all there athletics, student centers, library, campus activities you just have to take the initiative to get involved or use them.

Online Courses: I have taken a few online classes and I love them. Some people do not like them because you need to be very disciplined to get the workload accomplished which can be a lot depending on the class and instructor. The registration process was simple and there is a lot of unique features of the D2L online classes such as paging or emailing instructor or other students in the class for help or questions.

Student Body: I can only speak of the students in my cohort for nursing as that is all I know of with in the school but we are all dedicated to doing a good job in class to ultimately be good nurses. We are their for each other if someone is not understanding certain material and such so very supportive group.

Academic Flexibility: I have not had any problems with classes/curriculum I do as I am told and that is required of me and I have no complaints. The thing is in my program we have to have an 80% with is passing at a C so there is not a lot of room for not doing homework or not studying or you fail and that is on you not the instructors.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I personally have not had any problems with financial aid at my school other than I have been going to school for 6 years now and have maxed out my funds. I definitely feel like all colleges charge way to much for tuition and mine is no exception. I feel like I'm getting a great education but I think all colleges are expensive. When filling for financial aid my only suggestion is to start the process early don't put it off and think they should just jump through hoops to get to yours first. I ha

Academic Experience: I technically can't give it's the best as I have nothing to compare to as I have only attended this school. Our instructors for my AD (RN) program are wonderful. They are very helpful when needed and accommodating with teaching in using all techniques to include visual aids and audio power points as well as allowing us to record our lectures. Our curriculum is very rigorous and fast pasted and does not allow much time for anything else except for homework and studying but we are told this during our orientation so we know what to expect. I do not know much about the internship/job opportunities as I have not had the time to entertain either one of these do to work and study load.

Academic Experience: The class registration for my particular program is super easy because the program only allows 40 students and we all take the same classes so signing up is just a matter of adding the only classes offered within the program to our schedule. We have study groups that we set up within our program but the learning center also has tutors for other classes for other programs.
