So far I have had really good experiences with my courses and professors. They are all very passionate about what they are teaching. And that makes it easy to get behind them and learn!

I am currently completing the AA degree program to complete my general education requirement. And CLC has TONS of different courses to choose from. I actually changed the job I want to pursue because of the variety of classes I was able to take. I switched from a biology major, (Which I hated..) and now I want to be a sign language interpreter!

I love my school, and the town it is in really has a hometown feeling. There are so many activities around the area, that you are able to get a student disount with your student i.d. I love that you can join a group that are conversing in the halls, or cafeteria, and they just open right up, and are interested in who you are, as well as, what you have to say. I am a single parent, and there is such a great support system with our Meta-5 program that is offered, there are so many other parents that you can talk to, and they know what your talking about, and offer advice, or even just a ear to listen. My school has the whole package, great school, awesome classmates and faculty, as well as the city it's in, you can go into any business, and get a warm welcome. Totally worth checking into!

Foundation Is Your Friend – The Foundation office is the hub of CLC's scholarship world. If you aren't getting enough financial aid outside of what the school or FAFSA offers you, the best thing for you to do is head down to the Foundation Office and see if you qualify for anything there (And most people qualify, don't worry). The other trick is to get in quickly. Once you know you're attending, make the Foundation your FIRST stop after your college app is in and accepted. The bigger scholarships are the first to go so if you wait until the last second there won't be much money left in the Foundation to do you much good. Good Luck!
