Off-Campus Housing: There are plenty of options to get an appartment or lease a house near campus. My friends' houses off campus are all in decent shape and clean, and are all within walking distance to campus. Depending on exactly where you're located, your neighbors may be exclusively students or it may be a mostly residential area.

Off-Campus Housing: I've never lived on campus, however I have friends who received an off campus house as second semester freshman relatively easily.

Off-Campus Housing: There doesn't seem to be a lot of it, I only see about two apartment complexes off of the campus and they don't look very safe and clean.

Off-Campus Housing: Off campus housing right in the same town is okay but its easier if you have 3-4 people to live with because it can be on the expensive side. and most students commute to school from their parents house anyway.
