5 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The classes are very flexible especially since I am in a program and still taking credit courses on the side. I think it is great that they have so many different time slots.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: My school is personable because they go that extra mile to make sure you are getting the class or credit you need. Also the staff is unique because it is a wide range of people.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love the class sizes and how all classes are taught at a different pace and style. I also love that some professors get to chose the topics and what is important.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: They give you the option for internships and even shadowing. I think it is great because this allows you to know what you are getting into and what is needed of you.

Online Courses: I have taken many online classes and I actually really enjoy them. I still apply myself and do all the work and it is mostly more convenient. We recently tried adobe connect and loved it. It is a great way to interact.

Student Body: From what I have seen of the student body and the diversity, it is very normal and there is a wide variety of types of people. This is how I think schools should be.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I mean the tuition is based just like all the other schools I have been to. It was nothing surprising and I think by the end I will be getting my moneys worth. I did fill out fafsa and did not ever hear anything from the school about scholarship opportunity's.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I mean it is a community college so they dont have any classes or anything that would count as that. As far as counseling the students on which way to go, is pretty well. They take the time needed to talk to me about any questions of concerns for any post grad problems.

Academic Experience: I do think it is a lot and the workload is tough. It is also very educational and will prepare me for the real world. I think that the prerequisites should be required to be completed before acceptance into the programs. This has made it a little more challenging.

5 College Junior

Academic Experience: The topics are chosen very well and I find most of it interesting. I also think the material is expressed in a great way and taught the way it should be taught.

Campus Resources: I think that the faculty try really hard to make the students and other faculty happy. I enjoy the people and the office of administrations makes it as easy as possible to meet the students needs.

Overall Experience: Haven't been there long enough to really have much of an opinion on anything yet.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I am studying to become a teacher. The prospects are good for the teaching industry.

Online Courses: About the same as the other three online schools that I've attended.

College Freshman

Student Body: I only go to school online.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I moved to the state one month ago. NC requires you to live here for a year before they consider you a resident for tuition purposes, which is really disappointing. I'm going to have to pay out of state tuition costs for the next 11 months. They are double the regular rate...

Academic Experience: The classes are completely online, which I love. It would be very difficult to go to actual classrooms at specific times while working full time. At previous schools, I've taken between 1-3 classes at a time. Three was a little much sometimes. I am more comfortable with taking two at a time if the finances warrant it.

Academic Experience: I will be going to school completely online, however I've seen the campus. It is very nice and clean. It is about ten minutes away from my home if I ever need to visit.

Campus Resources: I haven't had very much experience with this school yet. I just applied to them last week. They have been closed due to inclement weather a few of those days.

4 College Junior

Online Courses: Online classes are great because you get to do everything on your own time. The workload may be a little more then usual because of having to be able to learn and do the work by certain deadline. Online classes require more self-determination because you will not be seeing your teacher very often to have that push. In a traditional class, you still need self-determination but in my opinion traditional classes are better. In a traditional class it has that student-teacher interaction and also being able to work with other students to fully understand.

Career Services: The career center is great and very helpful. It helps by informing me about different career and job options.

Academic Experience: I believe that Central Carolina Community College is a great school. The professors always make sure that the students know what is going on and understand the material. The class registration process is very easy, the academics center is very helpful. The workload is a lot of material, but it is not impossible to complete. CCCC does offer many special study options that are always very helpful.
