Nursing Program for 40 Years – This nursing program has been around for many years and has seen many differing economies and work force changes. They understand that and provide as many resources with the faculty and within the community and state to ensure that competent, well-trained nurses are in our hospitals, doctor's offices, etc. The workload is heavy for good reason! The curriculum is more difficult than the Maricopa Community College Programs and they are building a brand new facility to accommodate the growing student population. They have the Central Arizona Student Nurses Association on campus that has been a voice for Arizona Student Nurses on a national level and network with the big name hospitals to ensure that they have jobs when they graduate.

Central Arizona College has a good athletic department. It is very common for the track and field teams to make it to nationals, and even place. Students from around the country, and even around the world, come to CAC to participate in our track and field program. I had several classmates from other countries who came specifically to the states to join our track and field program. Our other athletic programs do well too. For example, the women's rodeo team placed 5th in nationals in 2013. I'm proud to be a student at Central Arizona College!

The people that are there to help you get yourself together for college do just that! They helped me every step of the way with additional information on scholarships, grants, and work. They answered all my curious minded questions and made sure I felt comfortable with the progress I had made with my admission process.
