Overall Experience: It's a great place to start if you feel you need to get your feet wet in school. I knew what I wanted to do coming from high school, but I have met many people at CAC that didn't know and through taking courses discovered their calling. The main campus is pretty big and for the most part is pretty nice. There are several places to go to if you need help and people are very friendly.

Overall Experience: it a great school, I love it!

Overall Experience: Seek out previous students of the equine programs. None of the faculty seem to have much insight into the program. Know which classes you need which semester and enroll quickly, even if you have questions.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: Great place to get ahead or catch up. Administration is sometimes unhelpful because they don't always know their stuff but most professors are willing to help you if you ask.

3 College Senior

Overall Experience: I attend one of several campuses, which makes it easy to attend school since there's a campus close to home. My program is very specific, time consuming, and demanding, and everyone at my campus is very flexible with it.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The people that are there to help you get yourself together for college do just that! They helped me every step of the way with additional information on scholarships, grants, and work. They answered all my curious minded questions and made sure I felt comfortable with the progress I had made with my admission process.

Academic Flexibility: I love the fact you can take an online class that works and pretty much fit it around your already busy schedule. I wish the bookstore didn't close until 6pm, Monday through Thursday because of recent budget cuts. But, other than that, I've had a good experience as a local student.

Overall Experience: I like the performing arts program, including community choir. As a community college, CAC is way better than any of those "fly by night" schools that are scams, and the degrees aren't worth the paper they're written on.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I think that depends on what your major of study is, and what classes you're taking. I think it also depends on the method and when your courses are held (online, hybrid or in person). The overall experience has been good for me, because I don't have to drive into Phoenix to go to class. :)

Online Courses: I've had a pretty good experience with my online classes so far. As long as I understand what the professor expects from each student and how they operate, I am good to go. The registration process is fairly easy in person and online. The only thing I wish is that the student back office was updated with a better user interface. Other than that, the workload has been manageable as long as you stick to your coursework & get it done every week. Then again, it may depend on the person taking an online class and how comfortable they are with it. CAC also uses the Blackboard Instant messenger if any of your fellow students or professors are online. It also depends on how available the professors are as some of them also work full-time as well as teaching college classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I think for the cost of tuition at a community college, it's in line with other junior colleges in the state of Arizona. I think the price of tuition so far has been worth every penny. The financial aid office has been helpful and as long as you do everything you need to do and get them the information needed within the time frame, it all works like it should. There are several different opportunities to apply for local and extended scholarships as well.

Academic Experience: I am going for an AAS degree in Network Technology, and so far the classes are great. CAC is a small community college with several campuses across central Arizona, and most classes provide a student ample learning opportunities.

Academic Experience: I think the course workload and your success as a student depends on how bad you want to pass a class and how bad you want to graduate. It not always easy, but if you stay focused and work hard, good things happen for student no matter where college or where life takes you..

Campus Resources: I like the fact that most courses are either available at night or online for people that work during the day. The Signal Peak Campus has a student athletic center with a fitness room, a nice library, and tutoring resources which is great if they're needed.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: It's okay, but there could be some improvements in how certain resources are managed.

Academic Flexibility: the only thing really convenient for me here was it helped me bring my GPA up

Tuition & Financial Aid: i think my schools tuition and financial aid process is very good, they have a good system that helps you with what ever questions you may have.

Career Services: I'm not really sure how the post-grad services work at my school.

Academic Experience: my academic experience is okay. I don't have many face to face classes so its a little hard to give an accurate review on my major
