There are a ton of Academics available ranging from Accounting to criminal justice. There are many good professors and with Cedar Valley being a two year school, it gives you the chance to have one on one conversations with your professors and get to know them. You can start your curriculum off with your basics and continue once you transfer to a four year university. The class registration process is not only easy, but very flexible as well! The workload is college level and can be easily managed. Cedar Valley offers work study for students interested. There are usually special study options where a student can try something new. For example, this year there is a study abroad program that is taking place in Europe!

Class sizes were usually no larger than 30 students unless it was a freshman level class. Some teacher were okay and some were terrible. English professors were wonderful, one history teacher I found to be my favorite, and sophomore classes were somewhat challenging in a great way!

We Have It All! From 60 year olds returning to school to high school students getting a "leg up" on their education, this campus has it all. We have people with full time jobs attending courses at night, too. Various ethnic groups are present as well with special programs to assist them due to their skin color alone. I have seen various examples of sexual preference with the majority being heterosexual relationships, which is, of course, the normal thing to do. There is something for everyone here.
