3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: They need to check to make sure undergraduates who are under 21 are not drinking alcohol in their dorms or hiding alcohol when the resident assistants check the rooms. They also need to be strict about not letting students over 21 offer alcoholic drinks to students under 21, because it is against dorm hall rules.

5 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: They were very strict with drug and alcohol safety.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: Most people smoke pot or vape

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I haven't heard of any students that were cited for anything other than smoking to close to faulty buildings. Cases that did have issues other than smoking were immediately written down with a report and were kicked out of the college if caught a second time. It's nice living on a campus that has zero tolerance of illegal drugs and drinking on campus.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: It's probably average. Many students drink alcohol including minors.

Drugs and alcohol are not a significant part of the social scene at Cedar Crest. Few students drink, and almost no one uses drugs. Cedar Crest as a whole is not a big party school, and any alcohol consumption is primarily limited to upperclassmen and almost always off campus. Very few people participate, and many students say that the presence of an alcohol or drug scene is not noticeable on campus at all.

Students can use the counseling center as a resource when it comes to drug and alcohol issues, but since most students don't drink or do drugs, the issue isn't addressed very often.
