Overall Experience: Honestly Cecil has been great for me. I have grown really close with professors, and have actually learned so much from them. They have taught me so much from life lessons to actual content. There are a lot of courses for me to choose from when it comes to my major, I have to learn so much for my major, but the classes offered make it more enjoyable. Something I love about Cecil is the fact that the class sizes are small. I have not had a class with more than 30 people. I get more one on one time with my professors and I can ask more questions.

Overall Experience: Have never taken an online course at cecil

3 College Junior

Online Courses: I do not really know anything about this topic.

Student Body: The students are really wide in variety. You will see jocks, and then socially awkward kids. It varies in every single aspect honestly. However, everyone is very friendly to one another for the most part.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The tuition was very affordable. However, going about financial age was very difficult, every time I asked for help with this aspect I felt as if I had to go through 50 loops to get to where I wanted to be. The financial aid office was never very friendly for me, they just shut me down I felt like every time I came looking for help. I do think that I am getting my moneys worth though. I have learned so much in my classes and my horizons have been broadened. I have made meaningful relationships with professors and I have learned a lot.

Career Services: In all honesty I have never heard of anything along these lines at Cecil.

Academic Experience: I am an elementary education major. The workload is definitely difficult from time to time, but I have several mentors that are willing to help. The head of my major is fantastic and is always available to help me to the best of his ability. The curriculum is great as well, we learn everything from INTASC standards to poverty children. I get a huge range of backgrounds as well. I am currently attending a field study in a first grade classroom at a local elementary school. The teacher is great, and she lets me have so much freedom. I help the students to the best I can, and she is going to allow me to make my own lesson and teach it.

Academic Experience: I really like the professors that I have. For the most part they are all fantastic about helping me achieve my goals. My professors are very personal, they take the time to get to know me, and there are a few that I have become friends with. The curriculum and the work load are hard and can be very stressful at times, but I have learned how to handle stress because of this.

Campus Resources: The resources on campus are very helpful. As a freshman I was placed in a class where someone would come from each area and talk to us, letting us know they existed and how to get the help I needed. I also had the librarian help me several times with papers. The two I really like are the math lab and the reading and writing lab. If I am having trouble I go to one of those and I receive one on one help. The tutors are easy to talk to, and they take their time with me.

Academic Flexibility: There are a lot of courses offered with the same subject and various times so that the availability is great.i haven't had too much frustration with registering i haven't had to transfer my credits just yet.

Career Services: the school does hold job fair which is always a good thing to help those who are searching out. Im not really sure about the alumni network.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: you were able to use the help of your friends but it was a class where you could move at your own pace. I didnt understand why you had to to come to class though.it would have made more sense to just come for tests and the final. It would be easier if we were able to call or email the teacher.

Tuition & Financial Aid: i dont know about the finacial aid but im going to stasrt applying. Becasue of my dad being in the military i dont qualify for a lo of aid. But the problem is im paying for school myself and my paycheck isnt that much.. Im trying my hardest and im not trying to have the aid of my parent because they dont want to help. So ever scholarship helps

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: The courses are there to challenge your thinking ability they have good availability to work with your schedule. the class sizes can be small or big the size doesn't affect the way i learn.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: the isnt to many internships i heard about but i havent looked either. The staff seems fine but i don't know how the connection with alumni is.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: Most of the professors at school are fairly nice. The class registration is fairly easy and it takes a short amount of time. The advisors are ready to help and it had the major i was waiting for me when i got there.

Campus Resources: The gym is new and state of the art. The lounge is comfortable but work is still able to get done there. The library is well equipped but it could use more computers for students to have a easy time completing work. They always have free things and opportunity for students to have trips and meet new people. Its a great environment in general

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Resources: Mainly as applies to the library. It needs to be available more - later hours and Sunday hours.

4 Recent Alumnus

Online Courses: Nothing really to say here. The on-line classes I have taken have been fine.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: I have met some staff that are very nice. I am an older student, so I get a bit frustrated with the behavior of the "kids'" but that's the way it is.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: I feel like some things that are required for the nursing program are only required 1) to make more money for the school and 2) as a way of just weeding out people, but not necessary.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Experience: It would be nice if there was more flexibility and more classes offered during the summer. It would also be nice if something was open on Sundays - it doesn't have to be the whole campus, but one area (the library, computer lab, reading/writing lab), but one of these places should be open anyway (I think most colleges are open), but people need an option for a place to go when they can't study at home, don't have a computer, etc. It's very common that tests, finals are on Mondays so there should be a place to go on Sundays.

Recent Alumnus

Career Services: I would not have any knowledge of this right now. I haven't graduated yet.

3 Recent Alumnus

Academic Flexibility: The school needs to provide better hours, in general. The campus is closed on Sundays!! That's unacceptable!
