Career Services: My post-grad services are with counselors and liaisons that work with my high school making plans easy and comfortable.

Academic Experience: There are Academic classes were the instructors read straight from a textbook and show no knowledge on the topic.

4 College Junior

Campus Resources: There are many open computer labs which allow me to study and keep up with homework at any time.

Online Courses: I have taken a few online courses while at CVCC. I like the convenience of them, however, I do much better in a classroom where I can immediately receive help or instruction if I need it. CVCC online courses all use Blackboard, which is pretty user-friendly. Most professors are very good in communicating with their students. Registration is very easy. The only thing I feel could be better is a way of communicating between students.

Academic Experience: I am thankful to be a paramedic student at CVCC. The curriculum is getting better, and the facilities are great. We are able to do many clinical hours in the field, which is great for us, as we can get a lot of experience interacting and caring for people. The workload is honestly much heavier than I expected, but it will be worth it if I am a better paramedic in the end.

Academic Experience: Academics at CVCC is great. The professors are great. Curriculum is great. The registration process is made very simple with the use of My Services online. The workload really depends on what program you're in. I can only speak for health occupation programs. The workload is very heavy, but will lead us to be better healthcare professionals when we are finished with school.

Tuition & Financial Aid: The value of education I am receiving is great. The EMS program at CVCC is one of the best in the state, and I'm thankful to be a part of the student body. The financial aid office is great, although, this past year, I wasn't eligible for federal aid (which makes paying for school very difficult)! However, the CVCC Foundation offers a wide range of scholarships that are made available to students by submitting one simple CVCC Foundation application. Not all students are eligible for every scholarship, as many are based on the program of study, but it's worth it to apply.

Campus Resources: I don't know much about the athletic centers, but the campus library is a great place to study, and they have some very helpful employees. Campus activities range widely, especially for a community college, which is definitely good for students.

Student Body: There is definitely a lot of diversity at CVCC. As a public service student, I really only interact with students on CVCC East Campus, however. I no longer have any classes on the main campus. I do know, though, that diversity ranges widely, which is very cool. As far as I know, everyone at CVCC is pretty accepting of everyone else, in regards to diversity.

Career Services: Honestly, as a current student, I haven't been told much about the career services at my school. I do know that a career service exists at my school to help students find employment, however. Also, my specific program of Emergency Medical Science, has a very high hire rate post-graduation.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: I have not really looked into post-grad schools yet.

5 College Freshman

Online Courses: I actually really enjoy taking online classes. I feel like they are more accessible. Since I live 45 minutes away from the campus I find it more convenient to take online courses.

Academic Experience: I have not been accepted into my program yet because there are prerequisites that have to be completed first. I have not felt overwhelmed by the course load that I have been taking. Over all my program so far is enjoyable.

Academic Experience: Professors are amazing. The curriculum is not as hard as I expected, but I still struggle when it comes to finding time to focus solely on my studies. Registering for classes is simple and I can even do it online.

Campus Resources: The library has any book you may be looking for. Everywhere you look there is an open lab for students to use. Wireless internet is also available in every building. The Student center is also an enjoyable place to hang out between classes.

Academic Flexibility: Talking to the advisory center is the easiest way to make sure you sign up for the right classes. They are easy to access and help you understand what classes are needed for my program. Online registration is also very convenient because I can find the course ID numbers and register for classes myself at my own convenience.

Student Body: The student body as a whole always come together to do activities such as spring fling or fall fling. Even athletic games you can find a huge crown of the student body.

Campus Quality: I enjoy going to class everyday. The facility is always clean. The landscapers are always busy cleaning up around the campus.

Tuition & Financial Aid: For my first year of college, the financial aid and scholarships that I have received helped pay for all my costs. Even though books can be pricey, I had no worries that my financial aid would cover the expenses.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: Never had an issue. Always have problems reolved as soo. As they arise.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: We have multiple different campuses. Great student government. The staff attempts to become directly involved in any issues students have to resolve them. Instructors are always willing to take the extra mile as long as we the students are willing to walk it with them.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Access to comouters is vast. I have personally not used them much, but I know they are available. Network is good speed for so many people accessing it.

5 College Sophomore

Campus Resources: Great resources. An awesome library and really nice student center.
