Transportation: Bring a Car – If you have a car, and it's not a ridiculous drive for you, bring it. I drive nearly 6 hours to get here, but have brought my car all four years. However, it's easy to catch a ride with a friend too. The public shuttle bus isn't very useful for students, and taxi's can be sketchy.

The best way to get around campus is by using your own car, so it's a very good idea to bring your own. Other great ways to get around include to either carpool or borrow a friend's car.

Students can also call a taxi, but no one ever does, unless they really want to get to or from a party where they will be drinking. Even then, they are more likely to get a friend to drop them off and pick them up. The town has buses, but no one uses them. Walking is another good option. Within walking distance, there is a coffee place, a Walgreens, a Food Lion grocery store, a gas station with a mini-mart, a place to grab food, and of course, the liquor store.

Best Ways to Get to the Airport
The only real option is to have a friend drop you off. Leaving your car at the airport for a few days costs way too much money. Your second option is to take a taxi there, but that also costs a good chunk of change.
