Salisbury is a small town with everything conveniently located. It is a great college town, with tons of stores, restaurants, movie theaters, and other venues to occupy the free time of a college student.

Even if you get bored with what is in Salisbury, you only have to travel 30 to 45 minutes to visit Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point—all of which have malls, museums, and other places to have fun. There are three other colleges in town, and there are many colleges within an hour radius of Catawba College, as well.
