Academic Flexibility: Classes are not flexible at all so there is no "working" school around your personal life which can be hard at times - especially if you have to work while in school. However, they let you know this from the moment you let them know this is the program you want. They tell you that you have to expect to be in school from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. In the beginning generally it's only 4 days a week and you get out of class around 2-3pm. After it becomes longer based on clinical rotations.

Overall Experience: This school is one of the few schools that offers an actual "lab" portion with anatomy & physiology and microbiology where we are able to do actual disection and grow cultures. I felt that actually added to my learning and if I had taken the classes without those labs I would not have learned as much! Virtual disection is no substitute.

Overall Experience: The school is program oriented so every class you take has to do with your major. With the exception of some pre-requisite courses such as sociology and basic math I enjoyed my courses and professors are excellent

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I feel there could be more in the way of career services and recruitment efforts. I understand it is up to the student to ultimately get the job, but many students have no idea where to start. The variety of clinical experiences we get is very good and there is a lot of hands on.

Online Courses: I enjoyed my online classes, however, they were in subjects that I felt I would have easily tested out of had that been an option. The instructors provided good interaction with students and opportunities for peer-to-peer interaction. The workload was okay, a lot of unnecessary reading, but again, I felt I could have tested out if given the opportunity.

4 College Junior

Student Body: There is a diverse student body from every ethnic group and economic group. Other topics I'm not sure about but we certainly are all opinionated but respect each other.

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel that the financial aid reps can do a bit more in assisting students in finding additional scholarships. Maybe having scholarship books available for students to find applicable scholarships and/or having someone who researches scholarships in the programs offered at the school and posting those on a scholarship board for the students. Even having a workshop on how to apply to outside scholarships would be helpful.

Academic Experience: I feel that I have learned a lot so far and the instructors are amazingly helpful in ensuring our understanding of the material.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have gone to other schools where everything was chaotic and a semester would start and we would not have an instructor for a class yet or because an instructor was out, we were required to make up classes. This school does not have those problems, they have their stuff together and everyone always knows what is expected of them and when.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: It's a small school so there is no athletic center and no real student center or library, but they do offer us many resources, have campus activities, and help us succeed in any way they can.

Overall Experience: Unlike other colleges that make me feel like I'm just like every other college student and don't care if I'm there or not. Carrington College cares about its students, from the office to the classroom.
