Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
There are two really great resources to utilize to find a job or internship in a certain field. As with any other school, it's important to visit the Career and Professional Development Center as much as possible. Many companies schedule interviews through it, and staff members will review resumes, cover letters, and interview tips before the real thing. Each school also has a specific adviser in the career center, so students can be sure they are getting the right kind of advice. Secondly, it is important to utilize the academic advisers within each specific major, too. Most departments have a list to email students news, jobs, and internships that are sent to them.
