Academic Experience

4 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I haven't decided what I want to major in yet, but I do have my counselor helping me take classes that I am interested in and has helped me decide what I want to take.

3 College Sophomore

Academic Experience: I am sure about this for now because I have not take any of this specific classes that are required.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I have not experienced much specialization in my area of study. I am not involved in a specific program other than getting my associate's degree. There are very few internship or job opportunities that I know of.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: You can tell who is tenured and who is not when it comes to professors. The professors who have been there for awhile are pretty tough. The class registration process is actually pretty good. The adviser I have is very apt at her job.

4 College Senior

Academic Experience: Being a community college, we don't declare majors but the counselors have made sure to place me in classes that will count towards my major once I transfer. I'm very close to receiving my Associates in Science and then I will pursue a double major in Business Administration and Computer Science. The workload is perfect, and allows me to stay busy and and achieve good grade as long as I do my best. There is an entire board full of local job opportunities that is always being update. The facilities are very modern, and Carl Sandburg has several computer labs supported by an amazing IT department that mends any problems very quickly.
