I found myself in a rut towards the end of the semester due to some personal life things and a professor of mine took notice and talked to me after class one day. He really gave me some of the best advice I've heard since I got to college that afternoon. They're here to help with more than just the curriculum. He told me about the counseling services at CFCC and how they could help me more. As of the classes, well they're great! they're not too big so there's a lot of opportunity to follow along easier and ask questions when you have them.

Wonderful Experience – CFCC has a wonderful reputation they have partnerships with many four year universities and are always inviting different universities to campus, encouraging students to apply in order to further our education. CFCC also has job fairs to assist students in finding jobs. There is always some sort of fall or spring festival for the students with food and music and the teachers are the best! This has been a wonderful experience for someone returning to school after twenty years!

My school is a community college and one would think that with no campus housing or anything like that to bring students together that there would not be a lot of social activity. This is not true because Cape Fear has tons of social activities, athletic events, clubs, and organizations that allow students to get involved and create bonds. Not to mention that the location of the campus provides a variety of social hangout spaces where students can gather on free time!
