Academic Experience: I have had a good experience

Tuition & Financial Aid: international students like me are not given financial aid

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: Even for a county college, things can become expensive. The college is always updating their books, so it is always hard to buy used books. And the tuition varies, depending on what classes you take. I usually have a 200 bonus from financial aid(in which I used for books), but since the lab course is so expensive, the money is basically gone. Other than that, my financial aid paid for my whole tuition.

Academic Experience: They don't really tell you a lot, so it is always best to do your research, especially during the registration. If they come to your school to register you, the counselors basically complete your schedule for you. Then, you are all on your own, but the advisement center will help you a lot, if you get the right one. Just make sure to keep track of you financial aid and the prices when picking classes. They have tutors, which are OK. Since all teachers teach differently, it can become confusing. If you are disabled or in the military, they have a lot of programs for you.

College Freshman

Career Services: I don't know too much about this section to give a review.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: Again, it's OK. Of course, I expected people from my high school to come to my college, but there are just too many, it's laughable.

Campus Resources: The clubs are a bit discriminative or more like physically judgmental, but if you show your friendliness, they will eventually liken to you.

3 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I honestly don't know how this county college could hire such lazy and unreliable teachers and staff. I do not think they were evaluated correctly. However, I did have amazing teachers. 3 out of 4 isn't bad. My algebra teacher was unreliable and, all around, wasn't a good teacher. I'm just happy I passed, but when you get 3 great grades and one horrible one, there is obviously a problem. It's a good school, but that one math teacher did scare me away a little.

3 College Junior

Online Courses: Some online classes are hard with a big work-load.

College Junior

Career Services: I am not close to graduating yet so I'm unsure of the post-grad services.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: The classes have been fair the only thing I am unhappy with is that my High School Forensic Credit never transferred.

4 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I'm happy with my finiancial aid but it is funded through the state not my school. There are few scholarships and grants I am aware of. The tuition is low.

3 College Junior

Campus Resources: Tutoring is available. There are a lot of clubs and sports as well.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: I'm pursuing fiance through business adminstration since fiance is not a major at my school. I just declared my major at the end of the fall semester so I haven't experienced the aspects of my program yet.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: There are some very caring, influential, knowledgable professors and some careless, unhelpful ones. Getting a good professor is a matter of luck. Workload depends on the major even though I'm sure all majors are strenuous at some point. The class registration process is simple but there are a few helpful advisors. As a student you have to figure out what you want your major to be and how to reach your goals individually. Help is limited in that aspect. Not aware of many special study options.

4 College Junior

Student Body: Students either do their own thing or belong to a group of friends. A lot of groups hang out at the Cougar Cafe (cafeteria). It seems like everyone is pretty understanding and non-judgemental. The people are not super outgoing, but once you talk to someone, they will engage back. Pretty good crowd I just wish everyone was a little more welcoming. Very diverse student body. I've noticed that student from all over New Jersey attend CCC. Great school!

Overall Experience: The lecture halls and classrooms in Madison are great and comfy, but in the older buildings they aren't too great. Some professors are really great, while others just care about getting paid. I wish people got along better too. If someone makes new friends here it is a big deal because almost everyone goes into CCC with their specific group of friends and leaves with that same group of friends. I also wish people would learn to shut up during class. I understand it is just a county school and not a big university, but me and plenty of other people are trying to get an education, and it feels like it is almost impossible in some classes.

College Freshman

Campus Resources: I really don't know what there is to do on campus!

3 College Freshman

Student Body: The cafe is filled with nerds who are very loud and try to hit on everything with a face. Some people are extremely creepy, while others are very friendly. It's a very strange mix of people, but stay away from the cafe as much as possible or don't allow your girlfriend or boyfriend to venture there alone if you don't want them to be hit on by the nerds.

College Freshman

Online Courses: I haven't taken any online courses so I can't rate or review them at this time.

College Freshman

Career Services: I haven't had any experience with the career services so I can't really say anything about it.

4 College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: Many professors don't mind if people go on vacation or get sick around a test or final. They are extremely understanding and will help as much as possible. Scheduling is very easy as well. They have various different times for different classes, along with hybrid classes that only meet once a week and the rest is online work.

3 College Freshman

Tuition & Financial Aid: I feel like I'm not getting exactly what I am paying for. Some people go to county for the financial aid checks and disturb the class not only for the duration of the class period, but for the entire semester. If I didn't have to deal with rude people on the daily at CCC I wouldn't mind spending the money to go there.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: There definitely need to be more job/internship opportunities for the students.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: The courses and professors at the school are pretty average. I just believe there should be a more variety of courses for the students.
