5 College Sophomore

Academics: There are many options and classes you may choose from which is incredible.

Academics: The Calvin workload is tough, that's for sure, but you will get out of it what you put into it. I learned the hard way to do all my homework and complete all assigned readings, and boy has that paid off! My pre-requisite courses well-prepared me for the nursing program. Calvin also has a great core curriculum, free tutoring, plenty of study-abroad options, and cool interim courses during the month of January.

Academics: Calvin does a wonderful job with their academics. They are rigid, but help is there if needed.

5 College Freshman

Academics: The curriculum is tough, but the professors really go out of their way to help you out with the content you are learning. There are many quiet places to study on campus you just need to find the right one for you and go their often.

Academics: Being a public health student has been interesting. The program is very new (only about 3 years old) and it shows. All of the professors are in other departments as well, and there aren't very many students, so sometimes the program seems like an afterthought. But I think with time, it has the potential to be a great program! The workload is pretty light compared to other majors in the sciences, but it's still a considerable size. Internship opportunities are rare, but this is because the department is so small and new, not many connections have been made yet.
