Off-Campus Housing: I have researched some off campus housing and its not that great. Of course the buildings and condos are nice to look at and even better inside, but the cost is a lot and there is almost never any spots available, plus parking is very limited.

Off-Campus Housing: Living on campus is fine and students will feel safe.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: It many not be the best living off campus because you are least involved in school activities.

Off-campus housing is located throughout the beautiful surrounding communities of North San Diego. Most students live off campus, and CSUSM is known as a "commuter school," in which most students walk, bike, drive, carpool, or take the train/bus/Sprinter to school.

There are many beautiful small homes, condos, and apartments in the surrounding area for students at decent prices. Living with a roommate is always helpful for students looking to lower costs.
