4 College Junior

Technology: All the technology in the classrooms that teachers are now taking advantage of is some of the most advanced I've ever seen. None of this technology was available or utilized 4 years ago when i was at Chico State University.

Technology: Everything is available to students.

Technology: I never print at school because it can be expensive. There aren't many computers available.

Technology: When it comes to computer labs, there are no big problems. The only problem I will face is when the labs are crowed in certain hours. The printer is an important thing to have at CSUN, because most of the assignment students work on must be printed. Wireless access is a bit of a struggle, because in certain areas the wifi shows up strongly.

Technology: Computers at my school are very good actually, we do not have that much computers for everyone, that's why we recommend students to have their laptops at all time. Their network reliability and speed is fair enough, sometimes it may be slow. Having to print on campus can be sometimes hard because either there's a line or because theres no more paper to print out.

Computers are one of CSUN's stronger suits. Labs are all over campus in each of the University's departments. Sometimes in the labs it can get crowded, but wait times are usually short. Plus, most students have their own laptops, which means they don't rely solely on the computer labs. When it comes to laptops and Internet access, students remark that the Wi-Fi is usually pretty reliable and available all across campus in different hot spots. Students also get 20 free print pages per day.

The best word of advice is to do some research when it comes to computer labs. Many students go to the "popular" computer labs because these are the only ones that they know of, but with a little exploration, students can find best-kept-secret labs that not everyone uses and are more conducive for studying and working quietly (of course, if that's your type of study environment).
