Off-Campus Dining: the perk of off campus dinniing is choosing where you want to eat. personally i like eating at Miyosh. this restuart is a sushi place and is not that far from campus. Miyosh is walking distance from CSUB and the prices are under $15.

Administration: the rules at Csub are straight forward to follow.

Campus Food: the options of food at CSUB are very limited. You kind of get fed up with the chocies. more options of food would be better

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: the Campus Housing is new to CSUB since winter quarter satrted. so far the dorms have been a great addition to Csub.

Greek Life: As a member of a sorority on campus, Greek life makes coming to school fun because you always have a friend on campus and you always have someone to study with. Greeks are viewed as stuck up and only good for parties.

Off-Campus Dining: There are several good restaurants near campus.

3 College Freshman

Administration: Campus strictness on campus is fairly average. Campus police is very friendly

Campus Food: The food options on campus are Peet's Coffee, Togo's, Rowdy's and the Cafe. Togo's has expensive food, Peet's does not accept gift cards, but has really good coffee. As to hot chocolate, students tend to prefer the vending machine. Rowdy's has a wide variety of greasy food. The servings are large, which can be good, considering the prices are cheap. Sbarro is my favorite because the Stromboli are delicious. The only downfall to Stromboli are the amount of grease that is on them. There is a fresh sandwich bar, which is fairly expensive. It costs almost as much as a sandwich at Togo's, if not more.

4 College Freshman

Scholarships: There are not a lot of scholarships towards my major.

Campus Food: The cost are a bit out of proportion.

Campus Housing: Food choices should vary more.

Off-Campus Housing: The places you can get housing off campus are usually alright price, convenience, and location wise, but getting them can sometimes be a hassle and when I have gone apartment hunting before, some of the management has been very rude and would not give us information because we were students and they didn't want any "joke inquiries", even though we were entirely serious about getting an apartment.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: I tend to get bored with the food around town pretty quickly.

Administration: Some of these things aren't enforced by administration. Attendance is usually based on the teacher you have and if they feel like taking roll or not and whether it will affect your grade. The honor code is very strict, as it should be, along with drugs and alcohol use for the underage. Again, I don't live in the dorms so I can't say what they do or don't strictly enforce there. We don't have a lot of people who actively protest and I've never actually seen any demonstrations on campus.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The only financial I've gotten is a couple small scholarships, and while actually receiving the financial aid itself went smoothly, I was a little bit unsure how I felt about them breaking up the use of my scholarship money automatically if it was over a certain amount.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Food: There isn't a lot of variety, and for being as expensive as it is, you would hope it would be higher quality but usually it's pretty average or even a little below just in general.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: Many students don't really participate or join any athletic events. There's a less school spirit.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There are many apartments nearby the campus that are also close to convenience store, shopping malls, etc.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: grocery stores such as Vons, CVS, Albertsons, Rite Aid, and some fast food restaurants like taco bell, china bistro, miyosh, etc. are walking distance from campus.

3 College Freshman

Administration: when it's finals week we have a 24/7 quiet hours so that the students can concentrate on their studies.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: I did get financial aid, but it was not enough to pay all my college expenses like books and housing and meal plan.

2 College Freshman

Campus Food: you only have a few options like the Runner Cafe, Rowdy's, Peet's, Togo's, and Walter Stiern Library food section. The food in the Runner Cafe is always the same. I'm getting tired of their menu. I wish they serve different food from different ethnicity every week or at least have Panda Express, Chipotle, Subway, etc. on campus.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: the housing and meal plan is so expensive. I pay less than 3 grand per quarter.
