2 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: It is ghetto to the extreme. You need to drive to get to a place that is okay to eat at.

4 College Freshman

Administration: I love the way they go about violations but they understand mistakes. You can get a meeting if you think it was unfair or you were wrongly accused of something. All students can over see the rules. I love it.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: You need parent support. I am looking everywhere for scholarships for next year.

Health & Safety: We have a police force and you can call them anytime. They are very approachable people. We have places all over campus with a blue light if we feel unsafe for any reason we can go to a station and the police will come quickly. It is a small school with very few girls so guys do not usually date with in the school because word spreads fast if you did anything wrong. We have a great health center. They are very helpful and see you as fast as possible. We had some vandalism to our cat feeding station and we had emails sent out and a group talk about it. We are an academy so it is very safe here. A lot of veterans on campus.

Local Area: There are a lot of scary looking people and very questionable activities in town. The school has its own police force and nothing really bad happens here, but right off campus is scary if you do not have a car. We help the community as much as we can at my school. We had a Halloween for the towns kids because it was not safe going door to door.

Health & Safety: I'm sure we have great safety services and thankfully I haven't needed them

3 College Sophomore

Local Area: You have to have a car to get around and the freeways suck

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Nothing compares to my mothers food

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: I'm not sure I don't live off campus but I bet it's nice because you can cook

3 College Sophomore

Party Scene: I'm not too sure what to say about the parties

4 College Sophomore

Campus Quality: You have to be envolved

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Vallejo isn't the greatest place to go adventuring for food in.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Athletics is an important part of students college career.

2 College Freshman

Parking: Not only are spaces limited, but cars are often vandalized.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: The campus is almost 85% male, so that decreases the diversity a lot.

3 College Freshman

Technology: The wireless connection often fails, which is very frustrating. Be sure to save your work often!

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Cal Maritime just built a great new sports complex.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Cal Maritime is a dry campus because of its relationship with the Coast Guard licensing program, so drug and alcohol use is grounds for expulsion.

1 College Junior

Parking: Parking is horrible here, there are never any open spots and the only one that has spots you have to walk up 300 steps of stairs.

2 College Junior

Party Scene: There are no parties on campus so a lot of us go out to other schools to party.

3 College Junior

Administration: The school is a dry campus so anytime you are caught with alcohol in your room or on campus you get a violation and have to attend a board review on your case.

2 College Junior

Transportation: The best is to have a car on campus, but incoming freshmen are not allowed to have one. Public transportation is unreliable so the best way is to have your own car or ask a buddy.
