3 College Freshman

Administration: Some policies are not spelled out and seem to be made up on the spur of the moment.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: It's San Francisco - all the freaks live her, me included.

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The school offers free Yoga and Tai Chi classes on a regular basis, but those are the only type of "club" sports on campus.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Students pay 800 - 900 to share a living room turned bunk house with other students. A 2 bedroom apt. will have 6 - 8 strangers living in it. $1300 a month will get you a tiny studio with a shower but no bathtub and no parking. Landlords choose which strangers will be your room-mates based mostly on your credit rating....and how many students have a great credit rating?

1 College Freshman

Campus Housing: There is NO campus housing. There is very little in place to help students find housing. Several students are living in cars or on people's living room floors. Virtually no resources in place to help students with housing in any way.

3 College Freshman

Local Area: Huge number of things to do - almost all of them too expensive for students due to the extremely high cost of housing, parking, and transportation in San Francisco.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: Classes at this private school are more expensive than the same classes at state universities; therefore, my financial aid dollar does not stretch as far. Maximum fin. aid does not cover the cost of four classes, much less leave anything left for textbooks or living expenses. Student Work positions are by interview, the same as a regular job, so you are not guaranteed a student job if you apply for it. Student work positions are for full 8 hour shifts - which is difficult to arrange your school schedule around. Most student work jobs are short shifts that you can add before or after a class, but not here.

2 College Freshman

Majors: If I knew then what I know now, I would not have enrolled here.

3 College Freshman

Majors: As a late admit, I was rushed through the process. I was not told specific details about the program and did not have an opportunity to tour the facilities.

College Freshman

Party Scene: It's not that kind of school. Events offered at the school are concerts, lectures on spirituality, and free yoga classes. Night life is all around us in the city, but "partying" is not really part of the school's dynamic.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: I'm still in the process, can't answer just yet.

5 College Senior

Academics: Holistic learning keeps student body engaged.

3 College Senior

Weather: foggy in the summer, hot in the spring

4 College Senior

Campus Food: the mission, valencia street, soma, financial disctrict, the haight are all close by

5 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: If you love food, SF is your haven.

4 College Senior

Majors: The cohort model of learning is revolutionary. We learn from our peers and yet are guided by our instructors.

4 College Senior

Technology: We are taken care of in this regard.

4 College Senior

Administration: Mature adults don't need this strictness.

4 College Senior

Drug Safety: Because the studentship is small and focused, there is little problem with drugs and alcohol.

4 College Senior

Athletics: There are no sports here.

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: The studentship is quite mature.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: SF is expensive. Good luck finding housing.

4 College Senior

Greek Life: What is the Greek Life?

4 College Senior

Campus Quality: The cohort model of learning.

4 College Senior

Transportation: If you live in San Francisco, walking, biking or bussing is where it's at. Driving is harrowing and parking is a joke.
